Generations - Events Ideas!

Introduction! This is more of a irp-based "mechanic" of TSS that would be soo fun to see and use. So here I'm compiling a list of events that could be possible! Events in this case are not Petra-hosted events that are more completed in threads with many others. These are not lore-relevant and hold not so much significance with canon events. When I refer to events, I'm referring to roleplayer-driven threads. These are hosted by singular or few cats that don't even need to have lore relevance to host them!! The general events can be hosted by any warrior / ranger / apprentice. They can be really fun with functional group roleplays. · · ─ ·ʚɞ· ─ · · Highrank Events These are events specifically led by highranks, such as leaders, medics, deputies, but in special cases, senior or well-respected warriors. Here are some suggestions: ⋆‧°?ּ? Festivals Typically hosted by leaders, these are seasonal or event-based celebrations. For example, MossClan could have the Butterfly Festival for the beginning of spring. The festival could consist of things like catching butterflies, sharing prey, meeting new Clanmates, and sharing and making spring accessories. The activities in a festival are entirely decided by the community and by the roleplayers. These can happen as celebrations for winning wars, or seasonal, like said above, for certain seasons. Get creative!! ⋆‧°?ּ? Funerals After a leader or other highrank d1es, there can be funerals held to celebrate and appreciate the life of said cat. These can be short threads where the Clan shares stories about the character and appreciate the work both irp and oorp that this character and roleplayer put in for the Clan. Such activities as (TW!!) decking the b0dy with flowers, sharing stories about the highrank, and possibly even burying the hr. This is purely meant to appreciate and celebrate the roleplayer and character for their time in the roleplay. These can be hosted by new leaders / deputies, or by medics. And in some cases, by warriors. · · ─ ·ʚɞ· ─ · · Warrior Events These are events that can be held by anyone (ALMOST) in the Clan. And they don't necessarily have to be clan-wide, they can consist of a few cats and simply have a short thread performing said event. They won't be too complicated, of course, and they won't necessarily be celebrations, either. They're just small group roleplays that can help foster relationships between clanmates. ⋆‧°?ּ? Hunting Parties Hunting parties are what they sound like. A small group of Clan cats (warriors, apprentices, rangers, other cats that can safely leave camp) head out and collect prey together. This can be really fun and help your character meet other Clanmates that they typically don't know. ⋆‧°?ּ? Trading Parties Trading parties can be fun, too. Large-ish events that can happen Clan-wide, or just in a den. These are group roleplays that focus on the trading of accessories. These are better for in-depth talking between characters and for your character to get to know others. Plus, it's fun to swap accessories in real time. You don't have to negotiate AND roleplay. Your characters can do the heavy lifting FOR you! ⋆‧°?ּ? Accessory Crafting Parties These are like trading accessories above but can be used to make non-official accessories and occasionally complete weekly quests. A group of cats can get together and collect materials to make accessories or decorate accessories they already have. It can help you get the hang of in-rp gaining accessories. It can also help your character make new friends (or lovers or enemies!) among your Clanmates. ⋆‧°?ּ? Game Playing Every cat can get some exercise. These can be, again, Clan-wide or just for a small group, and play games together. Kits can participate solely with this one. Other ones, they'd probably need older cat supervision, but they can now play group mossball. These can be really fun because it can establish a sense of competitiveness within your character and help them make new friends. · · ─ ·ʚɞ· ─ · · Closing + Credits There are many different events that can happen in rp. It's a big part of Generations to establish these early and will foster relationships. A lot of Gens is focused on grinding, while some effort can also be put into solely roleplaying as well without getting something out of it other than experience. You don't have to follow these suggestions to a T, you really just should host events whenever. They can be really fun, and group roleplays can be easy and also entertaining if you know how to! If you takeaway something from this, you should have events! Immerse yourself in Generations and you'll definitely benefit. Who knows, they can be key moments in your character's life!
