"Sorry to keep you waiting!" SO CHAPTER 5 HAPPENED... here's what I thought! This was definitely the most Toby Fox chapter of all chapters. I was expecting some kind of crazy jealous Asgore with a trident trying to destroy everything about his family and "burn this planet down." Instead we got CHUD Asgore. And then SCARY (yet loving) Asgore. The dark world being Japanese was an odd choice but slightly fitting, I guess? I liked the vibe. THE FLOWERS OH MY FAVORITE SEVEN FLOWERS. Aqua- gooberton, easy to draw, funny.... expect art. Seth- CHUD CHUD CHUD CHUD I like very relatable Yellow- FRIEND INSIDE ME oh wait no its a lovable dunce I love I love Blue- Nice character. Nice dialogue. Green- The GOAT Orange- Angry RAT creature that I won't have any trouble drawing in my artstyle ... And Flowery... I LOVE FLOWERY I LOVE HIM HE'S SO "FLOWERY" hahahahahahaflowershahaha fun fact if you talk to me irl on a good day you'll hear flowery's theme playing as my theme trust ... he shouldn't have died. Platformer Mode- A++++++. Kris is definitely gonna be in Smash Bros now lol. The system of ACTing during the segments was also really cool, and I loved the fights! I really liked the story of this chapter! ... I also have no idea who the Knight is anymore. It can't be Carol, Asgore apparently confided with her on Dark World stuff and Rudy (maybe) died during the Festival. Dess was apparently taken by the Knight, too?? ... Asgore totally could've whupped the Knight. (I got really freaking scared when he was threatening the fountain maker.) Let's talk about Mew Mew (or ughhghghg "Pink") Kind of a disappointing secret boss. I, as you probably know, wanted FRIEND, and all the foreshadowing of "Puppet/Cat" stuff in Castle Town made me really get my hopes up. At times the fight felt unfair, especially the bomb attacks. I'm expecting that that'll be nerfed soon, so I'm wearing my "Beat Pre-Nerf Mew Mew" boss with pride. Meh secret boss, the music was good though. Many thanks to Miku lol LET'S TALK ABOUT THE FLOWERY FIGHT. Flower Man is an INSANE banger of a song. The BRAVERY SOUL just randomly showing up was also CRAZY and it was really fun to use (though at times clunky). The battle was so atmospheric it almost felt fanmade. In my opinion, it's the best final boss out of any chapter. The Weird Route: ... So... are Kris and Noelle gonna be in Subnautica now? Can Wing Gaster's computer run DOOM? Do I have to wait until I'm 20 to finish making it snew? Toby... you scared me. You legitimately scared me. How much longer now? Credits n stuff: elmers glue (yum) flowery voicemod
