He stopped at the balcony, near King Horus's room, and looked out into the town. Magu wanted to have some fun out of his new home, after all, he could use a break after stopping Lyric The Rattlesnake from ending the world. After many years, now with his friends, and new family by his side, he finally didn't feel alone. LATER THAT DAY, 10:00AM: "Drats" Lyric exclaimed. "That pesky dragon always gets in my way!". His robot, Gimmick, helped Lyric with stealing the shop's electronics out of the store. Gimmick replied with "Tell me about it". "GET BACK HERE WITH MY EMPLOYER'S REASON TO KEEP ME!", the store worker screamed and raised his fist. Magu bursted after Lyric and Gimmick. He took a turn into a slim alley Lyric went down, yet losing track of Gimmick. As Lyric knocked down some crates in the area, Magu somersaulted and jumped around them. Lyric took a quick turn and phased through a wall with his own tech. Magu sat there in disbelief for a second, until Chuck The Hedgehog contacted him through his ear phone. "Where did Lyric go?" Magu questions. "He's heading across the upper plaza to the gates to the outer-city district" Chuck answered. "Snow and I are swinging by with my 'copter to give you a lift Magu". Magu jumped up to Chuck's helicopter as it passed by. "Thanks for the lift" Magu told Chuck". "Magu, jump!" Chuck warned. Magu jumped out the helicopter and sped down the sprawling plaza. Lyric hustled to drop most of the tech he stole, and ducked for cover at a tent near the end of the plaza's path. "What'cha doing dad?" Saline the salamander questioned. "...Escaping The City?" Lyric said back. "So your here to take the secret way back home?" Saline questioned. "Why else?" Lyric said back. Lyric and Saline quickly moved the crate out of the way to reveal the trapdoor, and they climbed down into the sewers. Magu sprinted down the plaza, but lost track of Lyric, all he found was a trail of the stolen gadgets. Osiris, the jackal son of King Horus, walked toward Magu. "So we've lost him again?" Osiris pouted. "...Yep" Magu said back. "Well, we better go meet up with the others" "At least he left most of the stuff behind". "I'll be taking that back!" The store worker claimed and walked away. SEWERS: Saline asked Lyric "So how did the heist go?" "Not that good darling" Lyric responded. Gimmick came down the sewer tunnel. "Where did you go?" Lyric questioned Gimmick proudly defended himself about running off. "When Magu was busy chasing you, I smuggled away some of the gadgets I thought you would want." Lyric Steepled his fingers. "Excellent!" PALACE ENTRANCE, 5:00 PM: "What's up Snow?" Magu grinned as he came to the doors. "Magu, uh, me and Chuck have something to tell you". "What is it?" "Well, ever since we stopped Lyric last month, we didn't really have anything else we needed to do". Snow continued. "Princess Elise stayed back in the Soleanna kingdom to watch over it again, and right now, my parents miss me, and they want me to come home". "Oh..." "It's kind of for the best I get going too lad" Chuck replied. "I have to go back to Holoska to make sure my village is in ship shape". "On the bright side, Snow and I can visit each other, since are homes are not that far apart". "Come on guys" Magu pouted. "I thought we were going to be a team, stopping Lyric and all that buzz". "I'm sorry Magu" Chuck revealed. "We're just not as felxible as Sonic and his friends, we have our own lives to get back to. Magu started to look down. "Was it something I said?" "It's just that I used to be taken care of by a turtle in Chun-nan, he's been gone for months now". Magu, Snow, Chuck, and Osiris, all stood there in silence for a moment. Magu felt like he made things get awkward, he wanted to kick himself in the tail for it. Chuck tried to get everyone upbeat again. "On the bright side, while you stay here, I bet you can make a bunch of new friends in this kingdom". "That sounds great", Magu answered. Chuck and Snow said there goodbyes to Magu. "Bye Magu" Snow shouted. "Sayonara Snow" Magu downly said back. Osiris walked up to Magu. "My palace's Butler will have dinner ready soon, you better come inside to my family, my mother and sister are back from their trip". Magu and Osiris walked into the palace doors. As they walked to the shimmering dining room, Osiris' feline sister shot Magu a harsh look. Magu stared back as if someone was making dragon stew out of him. Magu and Osiris sat down at the dinner table with King Horus, the queen, and Osiris' sister. "I don't think you've met the rest of our household Magu" Horus chuckled. "My beautiful wife over there is queen Lapis, and my daughter is princess Peri. *continue in notes and credits
(read the above first) The Butler shot a grueling look at King Horus. "...Oh!" Horus quickly added. " And we also have Steven here with us tonight" Peri quipped "Who's Steven?". King Horus needed a momment to talk. "Steven... Steven The Stilt, our Butler". Steven walked away toward the kitchen. Peri was bothered by Magu's prescene. "Dad, out of all things you've done for this kingdom, why did you let a dragon under our roof?" "Daughter, It's true we don't have a clear history with the dragon race, but Magu has proven to this family, and the world, that he has a better heart than the other dragons this kingdom has dealt with". Queen Lapis joined in the conversation, "Your father's right my dear, this kingdom can't rely on dwelling in the past". She continued. "Without Magu, we would have needed to rely on Sonic to return and save us in time". "So what?" "We're just going to forgive dragons like they never hurt our soldiers?". "I thought our family was better than this!" As Horus began to shoot a disappointed face at Peri, she quit her rant, and slid out of her chair, she was done eating anyways. "I just need time to think about what happened to this family, I'll believe it when I see it". Peri went upstairs to her room, for her families' sake. Osiris felt bad to not defend Peri, but he understood that Magu proved himself worthy to the kingdom. SEWERS 9:00 PM: Gimmick wanted to say something, as he passed a wrench to Lyric. "Boss, it looks like we're getting closer to completing your new machine". "it's more than a machine" Lyric implied. "Using some of the spare parts I managed to smuggle from that store, I've finished making a robotic Xeonome that constructs machinery itself, rather than me needing to bother getting out hammers and nails". Gimmick whispered under his breath "of course this was all you". "Gimmick, you should go watch over your sister as I wait for my mech to finish being built, I wouldn't want her to be caught and set ablaze in it's path on the surface". "A big festival is happening today". "Aye aye doctor!" Lyric wondered why he programmed Gimmick to say that Gimmick walked down the corridor, and towards Saline's room. Gimmick thought Saline was In bed when turning on the lights. "Hey Saline, why did you sleep so early?" Gimmick put his hand on Saline's bed covers. It didn't feel right, so Gimmick lifted up the covers, to find it wasn't Saline, just her pillow, and a note saying she went to the festival. "I'm going to be very dismantled for this!" _______________________________________ EPISODE 2: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1364657427 This is really inspired by Steven Universe, Kulipari, Lego Monkie Kid (yes I spelled it right), Rise of The TMNT, Sonic X, and Sonic SatAM, I hope these writings will also pay homage to many early-streaming era cartoons that were ended early on (R.I.P Dead End Paranormal Park, and MDABH). This episode is basically finished, the only things I could change is converting some early episode 2 momments into this one.
