First of all; spoilers, obviously. (For the normal route and weird route) ========================================= So, first of all, this chapter was totally different from the previous ones. Like it just turns into a platformer? What? And the secret boss is Mad Mew Mew? I thought for sure Asgore would have a shadow crystal after chapter 4. But he was actually trying to prove the Knight's existence!? I thought for sure Asgore would try to, like, trigger the roaring or smth. I was surprised that a cowboy character actually showed up. Friend Inside Me is real. Also, I can't believe how meta the chapter gets at times. Like when Ralsei yells at Kris to turn off Flowery's voicelines and then he tries to explain the battle UI to Susie. And speaking of Flowery, his boss theme went so hard! And it had lyrics too! I was totally expecting the boss to be Asgore, but then they reveal that he actually wasn't the Flower Man! And then Flowery nearly solos the Knight! And the orange soul mode! That one was really fun and unique, and if they added an orange soul, that must mean a future chapter will have cyan soul mode too, right? And the souls from Undertale all had flower designs! And don't even get me started on the Weird Route. Like, it just ends the chapter right there?! And it will pick up in chapter 7?! (The 'Side B' thing got me thinking... You know the old Nintendo console that released in Japan only and was their equivalent to the NES? That console had a thing where game cartridges could be flipped over to access additional content and save files and stuff. What if this is like that, and when chapter 7 comes out, it would start weird route players in a special part of the bunker or wherever chapter 7 takes place? I've seen people coming up with theories that deltarune is a simulation by Gaster, and maybe this kinda sorta confirms that? The Deltarune community is going to go crazy until the next chapter. Chapter 5 really was as good as I had hoped, even though it changed the game so much. Can't what to see what Tricky Tony is cooking up next.
