✧・゚:* *:・゚✧Ch. 20 - Reunion✧・゚:* *:・゚✧ Link's POV As we reached the border between central Hyrule and Hebra, all the Links left their horses at a nearby stable and agreed to walk the cold temperatures. We walked through the thick snow to Rito stable. Twilight asked the stable owner where the temple of time was. "The Temple of Time? Never heard of such thing. There IS a temple to the northeast called the Forgotten Temple. Is that what you're looking for?" The stable owner said. "We'll check it out. Thank you." Twilight said. As Twilight walked out of the stable, he clapped is hands and announced, "Okay, everyone. We're stopping at Rito Village for some clothes before we continue!" It took us a long time to get everyone up to Rito Village. It was fortunate that the Rito had so many garments in storage and we didn't have to wait long. As I slipped the warm jacket and snow pants on, I felt the warmth melt over me and I sighed happily. It's been too long in the cold. We set out east to find the forgotten temple. About halfway there or so, I saw the snow slowly start disappearing as we progressed. I took of the jacket and slipped my hoodie back on as it got warmer. A little after the snow disappeared, we reached a cliff. We all looked down. "I can see why it's called the Forgotten Temple." Time said. I agreed. The temple looked ancient and the whole front entrance was collapsed, making the whole front wall a big, gaping hole. "Okay, did anyone bring rope?" Twilight asked. I heard a lot of "No". Twilight slapped his face. "I guess we're going around then." He sighed. I tilted my head, still focused on the temple. "Why not just...climb down?" I asked. All the Links stared at me. "What do you mean 'climb'?" Twilight asked, putting his hands on his hips. I jumped of the edge of the cliff. "LINK!" Sky yelled, running over to the edge, only to find me clinging to the rocks. Sky pulled back. "How...are you doing that?" Twilight asked, gazing down at me. I laughed. "I'm surprised you don't know. I'M going this way. YOU guys can go around. Unless you want to jump off the cliff like I did. Your choice." I started my way downward. It took longer than I thought it would to get down to the temple roof. As I stepped down on the cracked stone, I saw two links glide down from the cliff. "I forgot I had this." Sky said, folding a large piece of cloth and pocketing it carefully. "I just had to find a leaf as big as me." The other said. I didn't know him. As all three of us made our way down to the enterance of the temple, the rest of the links made their way up the broken path and met up with us. They all went inside, excited for a new Link to be added to the team. I tried to call out to Sky, but I stopped in my tracks. My voice was gone again. I sighed. It was almost the best thing that happened to me. Except for Zelda. My cheeks warmed as the image of her floated through my vision, before I shook my head and continued into the temple. Zelda's POV The Zelda's teleported with me straight to the entrance of a temple. I gasped and stumbled as the ground was finally beneath my feet again. "What is this place?" I asked, looking at the gaping hole in the temple wall. "It's the Temple of Time!" Sheik replied happily, coming up beside me. She crossed her arms and scanned the hole. "It's looks like it got bombed or something." She said. I followed her as she made her way onto the temple, watching everything like there's a threat waiting in every crack in the surface. We were about halfway through the temple before a question suddenly crossed my mind. What's your Link like?" I asked Sheik. She glanced at me. I STILL couldn't see what her expression was. I recently learned that Goddess Hylia was a pro at labeling Sheik's expressions. "He's...good, I guess." She replied, turning back forward. As we passed by the last ark, I noticed a fairly large group of people off to the side of the towering statue. My gaze caught a boy at the edge of the group. "Link?" I called. I saw Link's expression turn to something like hope and fear as he turned to find the source of the voice. His gaze found me, and suddenly his face changed to a mix of worry, excitement, and pure joy. "Link!" I said again, more confident this time. I sprinted forward and threw myself into his arms. He immediately wrapped his arms around me and squeezed. My eyes started watering as I soaked in his warmth. He grabbed my shoulders after a few moments and looked me in the eyes. "You're okay." He mouthed. I smiled. I could tell he wanted to speak, and I felt so bad that he couldn't. He wrapped me in another hug, and I melted into his arms, hoping this moment could last forever.
