Shadows and Stars: Ch. 6 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- In which some owls find out about Cloud, and they are very ignorant of what happened (trigger warning: death, grief, also if you're emotionally more sensitive eg. cry easily maybe skip this one... I almost cried drawing it so yh) ------------------------------------------------------------------------- (oh and the reason the backdrop changes colour is because its sunset I just forgot) Characters: Black owl with star on her forehead - Star (chick, she/her) Dark grey and orange owl with leaf ear tufts - Coal (chick, he/him) Yellow owl with spiky ear tufts - Sunlight/Sunny for short (chick, she/her) Green and yellow owl with fluffy ear tufts - Mango (adult, he/him) Orange and yellow owl with leaf ear tufts - Dawn (adult, she/her) ------------------------------------------------------------------------- WRITTEN SUMMARY Star, Coal and Sunny are sitting in their nest. Star and Sunny are telling Coal the story Cloud told the sisters in chapter 1. When they finish, Star mentions how long their parents have been. Sunny agrees, and they explain they've had enough time to show Coal around the flock and tell him the origin story. Just then, Mango arrives at the nest, crying. They ask him what's wrong, and he says it would be best if they didn't hear it from him. Mango takes them to Parliament's branch, where Dawn is standing over Cloud's unalived body. Star and Sunny ask what happens, and Dawn explains that Cloud is not alive anymore. (sneek peek of the next chapter: Star explains something to Sunny)
