All character references so far! I will add more when they get introduced to avoid spoiling plans. Also some lore! So, you may have noticed this in the story, but the leader does not lead alone. Any ideas they have (other than assigning patrols and stuff like that) has to pass through parliament first. Parliament is a group of five owls. When a leader dies, their next of kin (usually their eldest chick) becomes leader (or in some cases, the owl they choose on their deathbed, but if they don't have any kin and do not select a successor, Parliament choose some candidates and the whole flock votes), but the new leader must also answer to Parliament. If a Parliament member becomes unable to do their duties, the leader will pick a new parliament member (sometimes just a temporary one) to take thier place, however this must be agreed on by Parliament themselves. There is also lore hidden in some of the little design moodboards, feel free to make theories if you think you've spotted anything :D (Also the ranks and ages and stuff are correct for chapter 5, they may not be correct after that, but I will also probably update/redraw them at some point/when I add a few more characters to this)

Also, the idea for this was made by go follow her as well! :D DESIGN NOTES: Coconut, Tropicana, Kiwi and Citrus have sort of outlines of another colour. That is the colour they are on their back. Also unless specified, the wing design is the same on the top side and the underside. Now this is out, feel free to do fanart with this (make sure to add it to the studio, I would love to see it!) it's little things like people doing reactions or liking and favouriting my comic that gives me the motivation to go on! (if one of the chapters or this gets more than 50 likes or favourites I will make a rp studio for SaS) (also yes I know there's a lot of references but these characters will all be important at some point in the story I promise <3) once again apologies for the crusty ahh art the eyes are weird and all that but I did the templates and stuff and anyways I had to get these done :(
