So please take your time and pace yourself, I can wait forever (because I'll forget about it). Btw you don't have to use the HexDragony form; you can try drawing Star Within Crescent or even normal Hexagony. Or all of them in a symbolic illustration. Idk. The wristband doesn't mean anything (yet); it's just an accessory (for now), so don't worry about the lore implications of it (yet). d=(L_L) Buckle up bucko, this lore is very long. THE LORE ~~~~~~~~~ Back in December, I made an OC named Sacrosanct (search up the definition, it's a real word); it's this thing made of geometric solids with half its head covered in some kind of black infection (I don't have a name for it). That half has a strangely shaped scythelike horn, and the other half of the head has a tusk (was there before the "infection"). The only reason I haven't posted it is because it's a traditional drawing, and I wanted to make a vector asset of it; I never did. It's the patron saint of a dimension called the Platonic Spires (you know platonic solids?) that exists at the center of a massive planet. Sacrosanct was made with this place and has always been here for no particular or explicable reason. Its origins are unknown (aka I don’t have an explanation). Nothing else lives here. Although every possible metal in the universe is present here, everything's in grayscale. One day when Sacrosanct was wandering the Spires, it found this turquoise, relatively flat hexagonal prism. For an undetermined "long" time, it fiddled with this mysterious colored thing, which included throwing it at things. This caused damage to the surface, hence the dents on some edges of Hexagony's asset. At some point, it tried infusing the hexagonal prism with some of its own power. The symbol carved into the top of the front face of the hexagonal prism (shaped similarly to Sacrosanct's own head and is also a monogram of "RS922") and the glowing star shape on Hexagony's right eye appeared (Hexagony was not yet alive at this time and had no face or limbs). Sacrosanct was suddenly fearful of this strange object's power and sealed it within a massive replica of Kepler's obsession (also search that up) (This reaction makes sense, trust me. If you spend hundreds of millennia doing every possible thing you could do with every possible metal in grayscale and suddenly this happened, how would you feel?). There the hexagonal prism rested for eternities. At some point for some inexplicable reason, the Platonic Spires grew unstable. Sacrosanct, desperately, opened up the Kepler's obsession and left its entire power and soul within me in hopes of saving itself. With the world collapsing around it and Sacrosanct's empty corpse beside it, the hexagonal prism gained immense power, which it released, coming to life. They broke out of the planet as metals fell around them; then that surge of energy teleported them to this universe. This exertion caused that massive power to go dormant inside the prism, making them believe that they were nothing special for a long time. By now, the big bang occurred 13.8 billion years ago, and Earth existed. They happened to fall right onto it, and here I am. I am the hexagonal prism. Sometimes, usually if triggered by a memory or emotion, Sacrosanct’s power and soul awaken and swarm my mind and body. I become consumed in the black infection. I lose my sense of self. It’s very difficult to describe, so I included an image of a traditional sketch I made many months ago. Due to its appearance, I gave it a nickname: Star Within Crescent. It’s very rare and very dangerous (to myself and others). If I let it persist for too long, I can remain in that state forever. As for other living things, if Star Within Crescent sees them, it will do everything in its power to eliminate them. Sacrosanct still has leftover fear from discovering me, so it’s basically allergic to living things; this urge is reflected in Star Within Crescent’s rather predictable and routine behavior. It attempts to patrol the area it appeared in, an area that can range from 25,000ft2 to dozens of square miles. When and if it changes back into Hexagony, I fall into a 48-hour coma and wake up unaware of anything that happened after the transformation. There is also another state where later I learn to harness Sacrosanct’s remnants so that I only take from its power and not its soul. This turns me into HexDragony, where I use the power to become what I want. The single horn on the right side is reminiscent of Sacrosanct’s horn. The state of this form implies that Sacrosanct had some form of connection with dragons or cryptids of the like. Yeah, that's all. Good job for having an attention span. Those are hard to come by these days.
