Another factor that lead to the Dutchy's defeat in the war with Aurelia was their lack of protection against Aurelian Railguns. No realistic amount of armor could effectively survive a direct Railgun hit, but an effective way to assist with Railguns, Plasma, Lasers, etc are Shielding. We are going to focus on Plasma shielding as it is the simplest and works against most weapons in the CBMV decently well. -=What I understand=- It uses a ionized gas trapped in a magnetic field that sourrounds the vessel.
