tw: includes bad relationships, police, court cases, and custody over a child (not naming names) so my grandpa and my uncle have had some rocky paths over the past couple months and now...my uncle no longer has custody over my cousin. first, it started with my uncle calling 911 to report suspicious activity at his house. he ran over to my house where the police showed up for no reason...and after that incident, he started yelling at my grandpa and left the house in secrecy a lot to play pool. and today, they settled this in court. my grandpa showed up with a good lawyer---while my uncle showed up with no lawyer, and instead had lots of papers and old text messages (which the judge ignored). the judge then chose grandpa to have full custody over my cousin, and now this sunday (june 28), my uncle is legally forced to move out of his house. he has to have all his stuff on the curb and he will no longer live with his daughter and his father. this is very important and i wish my uncle the best in his next steps in life. <3
