Click the green flag to begin! On a PC: - Hold down the left mouse button to ready the ball - Drag DOWN to set the power of your throw - Release the mouse button to throw the ball! On a touchscreen: - Tap and hold anywhere on the screen to ready the ball - Drag DOWN to set the power of your throw - Lift your finger off the screen to throw the ball! Go for a high score! I decided to put together my take on what a Skee ball bowling game would look like on a Gameboy! The graphics aren't pixel-perfect like I made my other projects, but I did try to somewhat emulate Gameboy graphics and sounds. I'm really nostalgic for the skeeball machines at chuck e cheese so I made the music based off of that. This is my most ambitious project yet, so I really hope you enjoy! Try to get to the 30000's, it's tricky! NOTE: This game uses cloud variables to set high scores. These variables will only be updated if your account has "Scratcher" status. If you are a New Scratcher or not logged in, you can try it on TurboWarp, where their separate cloud data is stored temporarily: https://turbowarp.org/1335689574 The "username" block is only used to determine whether you're logged in to give you a warning about your high score not being saved. Your username will not be stored anywhere in the project. Update 1.1: - made some tweaks to intro cutscene - I realized the pocket detection range was a little too small and was causing bugs, so I fixed it Update 1.2 - pretty much removed all uses of the cloud variable "dayLastChecked" since it's obviously not doing what it's supposed to. I might re-integrate it is this project ever becomes popular enough to where many people are playing consistently
The cloud variables are bugging out, I have no idea how to fix it yet The gameplay music is a recreation of the music of Alley Roller Classic at Chuck E. Cheese's. I made the recreation using Famitracker, but I do not claim ownership of the original music. Recording used: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SmMQ8MvLEfo All in-game sprites were drawn by me.
