Hello chat :3 I lowkey procrastinated on this art for 27/30 days of this June but here we are... Pride month is almost over <///3 But anyways, whats better than ending it off with the art of those who ended off Splatoon beautifully, the Now or Never Seven? (with my LGBTQ+ headcanons for them of course.) SPLATOON SPOILER WARNING!!!: Callie (pansexual and cis, she/her): Callie is the kind of optimistic charming soul that I would immediately point to pan for her, mainly in Splatoon 3, with dialogue lines talking about Deep Cut, saying she instantly loved them the moment they met. However, this is a vibe based guess. Marie (bisexual and gxrl, she/her): I headcanon Marie as bisexual because in Splatoon 2, multiple instances of playful text people often use towards a crush, along with intense care she shows to nobody else except her family members, are all expressed to Agent 4. You can play as them being either male or female (which is also why I headcanon Agent 4 as bigender). I headcanon Marie as gxrl because she is connected to being a girl, yet also has many genderless aspects (especially in her Splatoon 3 design). Pearl (berrisexual and cis, she/her): I headcanon Pearl as berrisexual, as her love for Marina is obviously there, and big as ever, but then in the stage announcement for Snapper Canal in Splatoon 2, she said she once went on a date with this guy, however the attraction to guys she probably feels is minimal, she also complained about that date on live television, and this could be the only mention of guy attraction she's had. Marina (Sapphic and cis, she/her): The reason why I headcanon Marina as sapphic is because marina has shown love for those who are either women or were likely to have been born women, like showing hints of love for Acht, probably before they came out, and love for Pearl. No evidence for attraction to specific genders, wether one or multiple, has been set in stone yet. All I know is she's attracted to women. Shiver (genderfluid and aroace, she/no pronouns): I headcanon Shiver as genderfluid because in game, her style tends to be very androgynous, yet not in a way where it is set in stone that she is nonbinary as the identity label used by itself, rather than just the umbrella term. Her use of traditional male and female aspects could be presented in mainly her vocal style, and hair choices. It also appears she may be binding her chest in some instances (take her Splatoon 3 design) yet in the Grandfest design (the one presented here), she may not be wearing a binder. There are some instances where it is hard to tell (in her frostyfest design, she might be wearing one, but the dress makes it hard to see, frostyfest is also one example where she is wearing more feminine attire than usual). I also headcanon her as aroace because of her independent, "I'm too busy being a stylish slay ruler" energy. She also prioritizes friends over any sort of love interests, and has no canon evidence of really having love interests. She uses she/no pronouns because up until Nintendo confirmed Shiver as being female, they did not use any sort of pronouns for Shiver in Shiver's bio/avoided use of pronouns as much as they can for Shiver in English localizations, and in Japanese articles, they simply used neutral pronouns for Shiver. Frye (unlabled, she/her): If there is one thing I have noticed about Frye, its that she hates constraints. Her chaotic and uncontained energy is the exact energy I would say has her pointed towards unlabled, she wouldnt think of herself as a solid label, she would consider herself to just be... Frye. Big Man (ally, he/him): I have a feeling Big Man would be straight, this one is mainly just a vibe guess, but it would be very clear that no matter his sexuality or gender, he would support all of them as who they are.
