uhermm hiya there ! ! warning;; ! ! okay so this is a poorly written rant, typed on a whim so please do not take this the wrong way or misquote me because i am touching on a semi-sensitive subject. so what i see a lot in the generations community alongside other smaller wcrp's, is that identity and representation of lgbtq+ character's [ genders, pronouns, & orientations / attractions ] are so forced. it's like as soon as you spawn in your little kit, immediately it's using fourteen different sets of pronouns and has three orientation's. which i am NOT saying is a bad thing, nor discriminating. i've had many characters of my own who use neopronouns alongside having more than one attraction or gender. my problem is that they are a kit who hasn't learned of anything like that yet, nor can fully understand their identity. realistically, their most complicated problem is probably why they can't catch a butterfly or a word they cannot pronounce. smaller things such as feeling indifferent or not comfortable being referred to as their agab or something lighter and small similar to that, leading up to their later moons / years in life, like an apprentice or young warrior etc, would make so much more sense. a kit isn't just going to be born and immediately think " hey, i was born a tom fourteen seconds ago but im going to use she / affo / fawn / they pronouns " you see what i mean- ? this isn't meant out of disrepect, hate, or anything like that. again, i fully support the lgbtq+ community, along with loving the fact that we can express ourselves through characters and have the opportunity to do such things. also, i'm apart of the community as well <3 but it's just so aggravating to me to see this. identity takes time to build, sometimes it takes making mistakes or realization. it doesn't just appear straight out of the womb T. T ok im done, dont cancel me :peace: happy pride month :demigirl flag: :lithromantic flag: :androsexual flag:
