The lost of the Starrian War was brutally painful and exhausting. All cities were very badly destroyed, especially the capital. Reconstructions were shortly begun. It will take years, maybe decades to repair Stellaris, let alone the entirety of the nation. But changes will also be made to the country. First of all, 7% of the population will be required to be in the army, instead of 3%. Second of all, we have underestimated our military. Now the army, navy, air and space forces will be increased multiple times in numbers and technology. All citizens that reach 18 years must go on military training for a year to know all the basics of fighting in various terrain. They will learn how to pilot a drone, throw a grenade, use the standard battle rifle etc. The land army has been reorganized so it would mostly consist of Starrian Autonomous Units. This is to make the total manpower to be relatively high. If the percentage of the population being soldiers in the army was 3%, Starcon would have only 6 million manpower. That is why it was increased to 7% so it would be 14 million. Although that is still much smaller than the usual 28.2 million, so the NUTs will actually increase the manpower to 114 million.
