Themes of needles, death, trauma ! Salt never knew a real family. Mom? Died when xey were young. Dad? Never saw him. Xey were forced to survive alone, moving from house, to basement, to abandoned warehouse. One day, ?̷͍̮̪̊̀͜͝͝?̷̪͖̮͛̈́̈́?̵̧̘̫̳̂͌̂͒ found Salt, promising xem a safe and stable housing. Without thinking, xey agreed. Experiments. All xey could remember was pain. First, untested and possibly toxic injections lead to glowing, green, rashy patches on xeir body. Then the lab caught on fire, taking Salt’s tail along in the process. The fur is unlikely to grow back. Finally, an acid spill lead to multiple severe burns on xeir skin, rendering xem half blind and defensless. The lab was shut down after multiple complaints, trapping Salt into the lab, in xeir head, in xeir delusions, in xeir insanity. To this day, who knows where xey are. Did xey escape? Is xey dead? Or are xey still going, clawing at the walls every day in a desperate attempt to break free…
