SO, because the only person I asked about who should be today said "Orange/Gray" you are getting "Orange/Gray" or: Shark/Squidwing (for those who don't know, other than shipnames, adding a slash between character names is another popular way of stating a ship). That's right, Squidwing gets a crushy crush. I need to be clear here: both ships I suggested are one-sided ;u; and yes, I plan on drawing the other one tomorrow. lets pretend there's a June 31st okay? So, this is an important plot point in my little story because this is how Squidwing realizes: Oh man, I'm gay! ...well, no, he does find other toms at gatherings attractive--but this is his first/only crush! And if you didn't know...being gay or trans is kinda against the warrior code in my story :DD Something like,"Kits are the purest form of a mate's love to each other. If they cannot do that, cast them out as they are no use to the clan unless they become a medicine cat." Because I'm cruel like that heehee. Yes, she-cats that are unable to have kits also get kicked out or are forced to be med cats. The clanfounders are jerks, and because those jerks kinda rule Starclan now, Starclan in general is a jerk. ANYWAY: Squidpaw befriends a loner named Shark, and he's a chill guy. Squidpaw gets feelings for him, and decides to maybe confess later...and then finds out Shark has a mate/wife the day of. Squid knows he probably should cut off this friendship; 1. Gay is illegal. and 2. He can't bare look at him anymore without getting all heartbroken. So Squidpaw reluctantly ghosts him, meeting him oNe LaSt TiMe (George Washington's going hoOome--that's a ref) during he and Inkstorm's vigil. His sister and his friendgroup knew about his crush, and when it was just his friends awake, Inkstorm relieved him for a bit so he could meet up with his friend. He told Shark the good news about becoming a warrior, and because Squidwing told him his ceremony was today, Shark brought his mate to collectively celebrate. After that, without warning, Squidwing forced him to stop seeing his friend. He mainly blamed Starclan and the Warrior Code for such ridiculous rules. After all, he would have probably tried staying friends with Shark even after the mate reveal, but NO, the "no gays allowed" rule scared him off. So...who's rooting for the Dark Forest Lieutenant?! :DDDDDDD
