Shadowstar and Maleficent stood, glaring at each other, both bleeding heavily. "Why don't you just give up?" Maleficent sneered. Shadowstar hissed, "Because, I have a clan to protect from you." he said, tail lashing angrily. Maleficent smirked slightly, crouching down and slashing at his throat. Shadowstar staggered, Blood pouring out of his neck and mouth he slowly crumbled to the floor. Tougheart gasped, seeing his leader on the floor and ran to him, just as Maleficent left. "Shadowstar!?" The deputy cried, trying to stop the bleeding. Shadowstar gasped for air, "T-Tougheart.." tougheart cried, "Don't worry i'll get Morningfur! You'll be alright!" Shadowstar coughed out blood, "Tougheart, it's my last life, you can't do anything... Toughstar.." He rasped, his eyes fading into nothing.
