This year, I've perfected the Stare of 'I would like to express my immense loathing towards you as soon as we're alone' because I was part of the Gay Club at school, and, well: Human beings lowk kinda cringe Am I right or am I right? Basically—Homophobia is bad. Clinging to this idea of there being something less than normal about the LGBTQ+ community is extremely harmful and hurtful to many people. In fact, if you're homophobic, it's hurting you by narrowing your vision, clouding it, so you can't really see the simple truth in front of you: It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter if a person is gay or straight or spherical or hexagonal—what matters is they're a person first. If they're a horrible person that just so happens to be queer? They're a bad person. Doesn't say anything about the community as a whole. Now. To the point. I know we have a great, inclusive community here (mostly). So, I need *your* help. I've been seeing a lot of odd homophobic comments around recently, and I've actually dismantled a few completely by proving that hey have no scientific basis. And I felt *amazing* doing that, tbh. So I was thinking I could gather up a bunch of homophobic comments and try and prove them all wrong scientifically. *Factually*. Okay, now I'm tired. Go and put comments you've seen in the Comments.
