Hi I’ve never done one of these yippee anyway Please stop talking about hypermobility in a rude way or in a way that is completely incorrect or not even relating to what people like me or others actually experience. I’ve seen projects with a picture of Hitchhiker’s thumb (not a disability look it up) and a caption reading “Remix if you have [insert type of hypermobility here]” and I KNOW it’s stupid I KNOW it’s probably people who have grown since then but I have a right. To be angry. I hate seeing hypermobility being used as a fun character trait so the character can be the “most flexible” because hypermobility is actually really hard to deal with at times. Some reasons why in my personal experience is that there is constant pain in almost all joints, particularly when I’m stretching them or running, and mostly in the earlier day. It’s hard to do straining physical activities without constant breaks or trying to ease leg, arm, finger, or ankle pain. Sometimes drawing is hard when I move the pencil the wrong way, and even while writing this my elbows and ring finger are acting up. It. HURTS. why can’t people just avoid talking about disabilities like hypermobility or autism if they won’t actually REPRESENT IT. and I hate when people go “oh yeah I have back pain too!!” Or “yeah I also get cramps sometimes” because those are. Normal. Hypermobility is a diagnosed disability that hinders people’s ability to function in different ways. I won’t allow remixes on this project because. I mean thanks for spreading the word but I just. Don’t. Like the idea of it. Comments are open until I see something bad. No strikes I’ll report it and close comments for 3 days. Ok? Duck out.
This is one of the reasons why I like gens and tss because they actually require research to add them on but. still I see disrespect that is really disappointing to me in the corners of these roleplays. I never really got the links or whatever but you should be able to believe me because this is really common!! Anyway. Duck out again.
