Chapter 2: The perfect place Summary: Basically just more context leading up to the concept that is coming!! Notes: I'm LOCKING IN. You could also consider this another prologue-ish chapter, but I'm just giving plot for the main story line versus just throwing something in here all willy-nilly. I REALLY hope you like this chapter as well. Au revior!! <3 Looking at houses was the lighter part of the process. The harder part was searching for the perfect one. Hirano and Kagiura both agreed that their home needed to be spacious, but not giant, in a good area, and be a good distance away from their jobs. It took a while for this to happen, though. Plenty of homes that they walked through and observed were nice enough, however, there was always something off about it, or it wouldn't meet their requirements. Or... well, Hirano's requirements. Kagiura didn't really care about the living situation (he just wanted to be near Hirano), but the blonde was taking everything to heart, trying to make their home lives better than anything they experienced before. Hirano tried explaining this to Kagiura one time, when they were taking the metro to another spot to look at. "I just want both of us to be comfortable, Kagi-kun. A safe space that we don't feel trapped in, " he said, his light blue eyes focusing on Kagiura, "I never want you to feel like you can't stand being at our home because it isn't what you wanted." Kagiura went quiet for a few seconds, considering what Hirano said. "I'll never feel out of place, Hirano-san, as long as you're there," he responded smoothly, smiling, "We could live in a cardboard box on the side of the road for all I care." Hirano made a grunting noise and didn't respond, but the blush on his face was very visible. After so many dreaded months of searching and analyzing everything, they found the home that made their hearts swell with success, pride, and joy. It was a two-story home with a front and back porch that had flowers beautifully planted in raised garden beds. The exterior was painted a pale green while the inside was a cream color; the floors and stairs were viynl willow wood. There were four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms, the kitchen was spacious with an island in the middle, a few feet away from the dining room section. It was made for them. And they made it official as quick as they could; buying beds, furniture, appliances, et cetera. Soon enough, Hirano and Kagiura now had a home under both their names. Now everything could settle swiftly with no hiccups. Much to Hirano's relief. And Kagiura's amusement. I APOLOGIZE FOR THIS SHORT CHAPTER; I WANTED TO POST SOMETHING THAT WASN'T RUSHED, BUT WAS TELLING AND INFORMATIVE. I look forward to continuing this story! I appreciate any and all patience you give. Lots of luv. :]
