Here are 3 Biblical facts that you probably didn’t know! (pt. 4) 1. A seed must break before it can grow. Before a seed becomes a plant, its outer shell must break open. What appears to be the end of the seed is actually the beginning of new life. Without that process, the seed remains just a seed and never fulfills its purpose. Jesus used this picture when He said, "Unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit" (John 12:24). His death on the cross brought eternal life to countless people. Likewise, when we surrender our own desires and trust God, He produces spiritual fruit through us. 2. Branches cannot live without the vine A branch may look healthy immediately after being cut from a vine, but over time it dries up because it is no longer receiving water and nutrients from its source. Its life depends entirely on remaining connected to the vine. Jesus said, "I am the vine; you are the branches... apart from Me you can do nothing" (John 15:5). Our spiritual strength, wisdom, and ability to bear fruit come from staying connected to Christ through prayer, His Word, and obedience. 3. Iron sharpens iron When two pieces of iron rub against each other, friction removes imperfections and creates a sharper edge. Although the process involves pressure and friction, the end result is something stronger and more useful. Proverbs 27:17 says, "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." God often uses fellow believers to encourage us, correct us, and help us grow in wisdom and faith. Sometimes growth is uncomfortable, but it produces maturity. Hope you liked it! God bless :D
