wow oki I'm gonna be honest, I am really really proud of this TvT took me about an hour and five minutes, and I'm really happy with how it turned out. ummmm mini rant time sorry I really love this song lol it's the first one that I gave to Loki--and while I've found ones that fit him better, I still love this one. I've watched my map part for this a few times recently, it's pretty smooth but I don't like the artstyle all that much (scribby-scrabby lineart, no shading, weird eyes and proportions, bad colors) and his old design. So I made a last-minute decision to make a tne for this. I started with just Loki and the heron--the heron's important but u don't get to know why--then added faye in the bg (sharing her ref soon :P cause honestly this song fits everyone in my series and I really wanted someone there. The background was gonna be black but then that...looked pretty bad. I'm scared of doing actual bgs lol cause I screw up the colors but this time after a couple tries, I got it right! Originally the sky and sea were way too bright (me eyes hurted) which is why the sky is now 60% grayscale and the ocean is dull. I'm actually really proud of the shading--I tried to go for a watercolor pencil effect, so I scribbled with a black pencil brush really hard, then went over that with a watercolor brush, then set it to overlay :P i love overlay so yea also i wanted to make an art project that wasn't a ref cause i think i been improvin lately :)))) oki oki anyway art me ocs me song is good boy paris paloma
