My entry for t͟r͟e͟a͟s͟u͟r͟e͟ from @SolsticeSunfields' DTA! ♥️ Click through to see some of my process backwards > Lore: This character [for whom I have yet to find a name] was a pirate captain in her last life. She pirated so well that in her next life, she was reincarnated as a ship's parrot as punishment for her crimes. Now, she must spend her current life making amends to avoid being reincarnated as a cockroach next time. She can control sand with telekinetic powers, and uses her tail to direct it like a fifth limb. She can fly, but not for too long, so she still needs a boat/raft and frequently stows away on ships. She travels the world, usually alone, digging up treasures that she and other pirates buried and returning them. > Note: I made a couple minor tweaks to the original design; the earring, the color pattern on the wings a little, and the tail. I haven't drawn cats in a hot minute wow
