I did not use any AI in the making of this. +------+ Extra info: Okay, so I had to leave out some extra things, otherwise I'd have to make 50 more images. . . So, I didn't explain why I used the 3rd brush much. It is because it naturally acts like a g-pen (without the mess) and it can also act like a fill tool but WAYYY more natural looking compared to the pixel runoff you'd normally get. Next off, if you didn't notice, I do use reference photos. Why? It's unrealistic to assume someone can do everything freehand. However, tracing is lazy and that is when you copy line for line. I recommend using spheres and oval shapes to map out the reference and then to get rid* of the original image layer since you have the structure for it. (unless you need a color reference too, then keep it)* Then, for speech bubbles. an oval with a little pointer is a speech bubble. an oval without a pointer is a narrator, most of the time (some manga for example, like Elfen Lied by Lynn Okamoto uses this for speech too. but, it's not recommended by me since it can be very annoying to read.) A square with lines is an electronic device transmitting audio. A square without lines is usually just information about a scene, but it can also be an inner monologue or the narrator. then, a circle with lines can be either an inner monologue, or it can be an inner thought. Lastly, no bubble at all can be an inner thought or normally a revelation in the story, do not overuse this one since it's normally the hardest to read. For lettering, I use the AnimeAce2_Reg on Dafont.com, since it was the most readable for me. and I import it into kleki via using a ttf file that you can find inside the zip file of the downloaded font. (confusing, i know.) As for what device I use to draw... Currently as of writing this, I use a HP Fortis G11 14 inch screen chromebook lended to me by my online school. And, I do not use a stylus. I honestly have no idea why. . . If you do draw like this, then I recommend zooming in a LOT more, normally I zoom in about 500%-5,000%. Lastly, for my traditional folks... Uh, well just pencil and paper folks... Since well I don't like the other mediums much compared to pencil and paper. (no offense pls-) For my pencil I use the: Zebra Delguard ER 0.5mm mechanical pencil. (This lead will NOT break, I tried really hard) With the huion drawing glove. just the standard one. and, kneaded erasers since that doesn't destroy the paper you're working on. you can also use a ruler and standard wooden school pencils too, since i was also rocking that too. for a while at least. Actually, the most important tip of them all: BUY A NECK PILLOW OR EASEL, PLEASE. it will save your neck and back. +------+ Bonus Comment: oh. my. god... first time making a whole slideshow, and I think making a new drawing for every frame in hindsight was not a very smart decision. but eh, i did learn how to draw efficiently now too. OH and this is my second ever OC i've ever made, just for this i guess. her name is "guide". honestly her parents didn't do a good job at naming her i guess... but, this was also the first time i had to pose to make frames, i think you may notice when the anatomy becomes much cleaner. this is also the first time i've ever made a cohesive plot, since i had to write at least some details for this tutorial to be entertaining... i hope it was... by the way, i've been into animegao kigurumi (kig) latey. so that's why i used the K-ON kig, because if you don't like what you're drawing, then why bother? anyways, thanks for enjoying what i have to say! +------+ wait... it's 4th of july... osaka: AMERICA YA! chiyo-chan: "HELLO!
