Introducing the reason why Heavy Cruisers have so few Drones, the Drone Carrier. -=Useful information to have=- Drones are non-manned "Fighter" like ships meant to preform the duties that starfighters usually do, and there are 2 types. Type-1 (Fighters) These are meant to preform standard duties (Interception, Patrol, etc.) and assist their home ship, they are usually armed with a few MGs (Smaller versions of normal AA cannons) and a few missiles for fighting other fighters. Type-2 (Bomber Drones) These drones fill out the bomber role to use heavy payloads in areas that the main ship cannot target. Armed with mostly MGs and their payload. The role of the ship is to be behind enemy lines and serve as a bit of a F.O.B if needed, it is also to send waves of Drones to overwhelm the enemy. -=Armaments=- This prioritizes launching as many Drones as possible and because of that most of the weapons have been removed with more space for AA cannons since they are more likely to be attacked by fighters and smaller ships (Corvettes, Frigates, etc.) - 350 Type 1 Drones - 50 Type 2 Drones - 3 Particle Beams - 5 Railguns - 2 Plasma Cutter - 75 Missiles - 75 AA Cannons (Fires Plasma) - 7 Standard Cannons - 6 Plasma Cannons NO 67 JOKE IT IS A FORGOTTEN JOKE! -=Ship Design=- The ship design is very similar to the Heavy Cruiser but with plenty thicker layers of Titanium with a few layers of Copper and Tungsten. It also has been issued the new Plasma Shields so it cannot be shot easily and has time to launch weapons without being targeted. Length: 751 Meters (2464 Feet) Height: 245 Meters (803 Feet) -=Crew=- The number of crew is 350 to sustain all the Drones and Weapons. Note: I feel like I don't have to explain the Particle Weapons but you can go to my BLUEPRINTS project to see how they work :D
