After the feast, the students went to their common rooms. On the way there, Niamh and Emily got to know each other and they became best friends, Niamh had only wished that her best friend from when she was little were at Hogwarts. If she were there, Niamh would have a better time fitting in. As they got in their common room, their prefect directed them to their dormitories, “Girls dorms on the right, boys, to the left,” Niamh and Emily went to their room, Emily started talking about how she never really knew her mother, considering the fact she died when Emily was born. Niamh felt sorry for her, but she didn’t say anything, she still has both of her parents, plus her older brother, she just doesn’t fit it with the other students at Hogwarts. “I forgot to ask, why do you always have your hood up?” and there it was, the words Niamh was so nervous she would hear, “Um, I don’t want people to stare because of my hair color,” she lied, hoping Emily wouldn’t ask anymore questions. //What if she finds out? What if she tells everyone?// Niamh thought, but quickly started thinking about how excited she was to start classes and make more friends.
