Chapter 1 The neon sign of Freddy Fazbear’s Mega Pizzaplex flickered in the dark. It was completely abandoned by human management. The animatronics were entirely in charge now. Down in the Superstar Daycare, Sun and Moon were having a surprisingly peaceful evening. Because management was gone, technicians had finally given them separate, individual bodies. Sun was happily humming a cheerful tune, sorting the plastic balls in the ball pit by color. A few feet away, Moon sat quietly on a stack of play mats, polishing his nightcap and enjoying the rare silence. Suddenly, the heavy wooden doors of the daycare burst open. It was Bloomy. The flower animatronic stood in the doorway, his mechanical eyes glowing with an eerie, purple Glitchtrap light. "Clean up, clean up!" Sun cheered, waving his hands and bouncing on his heels. "Oh, Bloomy! Are you here to help us organize the—" Bloomy didn't answer. Instead, he pulled out a massive, industrial-sized bucket of neon pink glitter. With a wicked smile, Bloomy dumped the entire bucket directly into the giant fan rotating on the ceiling. WHOOSH! A massive explosion of pink glitter coated the entire daycare. It got into the ball pit. It got onto the slides. It completely covered Sun and Moon from head to toe. Bloomy let out a glitchy, mocking laugh and sprinted back out into the atrium. "Oh, standard cleaning protocols are not going to fix this!" Sun whined. He shook his hands frantically, sending a shower of pink sparkles onto the floor. "My paint! Our daycare! It's ruined!" Moon stood up, slowly brushing glitter off his dark blue pants. His red eyes glowed with pure irritation. "Loud. Messy. Naughty flower," Moon growled, his voice a raspy hiss. "I am going to tear his petals off." "No, no! No violence!" Sun gasped, grabbing Moon’s arm to hold him back. "We need authority. We need an adult! Let's find Mr. Afton. He’ll know what to do!" Moon rolled his eyes but followed as Sun dragged him out of the daycare. They marched up the stairs together toward the VIP rooms. They knew William Afton—now known as Burntrap—lived up there. Surely the co-founder of Fazbear Entertainment could handle a rogue flower. But as the two brothers approached the hallway, a loud, metallic smash echoed through the corridor. "I AM NOT PAYING ALIMONY, BALLORA!" Burntrap’s raspy, mechanical voice roared from his room. Across the hall, the door slammed open. Ballora spun out into the corridor on her little roller stand, her eyes closed but her face radiating pure fury. She was holding a stack of legal documents in one hand and a heavy metal S.T.A.F.F. Bot arm in the other. "THE DIVORCE PAPERS!" Ballora shrieked back, her music box music playing at a deafening, aggressive volume. "YOU SIGNED THE PRENUP, WILLIAM! I GET THE MINIREENAS ON WEEKENDS!" "THEY ARE MY CREATIONS!" Burntrap yelled, poking his withered, metallic rabbit head out of his doorway. Ballora didn't hesitate. She hurled the S.T.A.F.F. Bot arm down the hall. It clanged loudly against Burntrap’s forehead, sending a shower of sparks flying. Sun froze at the end of the hallway, clutching his cheeks in pure terror. Moon simply crossed his arms, staring at the chaos with a flat, unimpressed expression. This was way too much drama, even for them. "We should leave," Moon muttered, turning away from the screaming couple. He walked over to the giant glass windows that overlooked the main street outside the Pizzaplex, wanting some peace and quiet. Sun scurried right behind him, hiding his face behind his hands but still peeking through his fingers. They looked out across the pavement toward Circus Baby's Sister Location and the old Pizzeria. Through the darkness, Moon spotted movement. He squinted. Sun leaned over his shoulder to get a better look. Sitting on the roof of Circus Baby's across the street were Funtime Freddy, Circus Baby, and the classic Freddy Fazbear. They had lawn chairs set up. Funtime Freddy was aggressively eating a giant bowl of popcorn. As the daycare brothers watched, Circus Baby held up a giant, hand-painted cardboard sign facing the Pizzaplex windows. It read: 10 / 10 FIGHT. GO OFF QUEEN. Freddy Fazbear held up a smaller sign that just said: TEAM BALLORA. Moon stared at them through the glass, slowly rubbing his robotic temples. Sun just let out a long, dramatic sigh. It was going to be a very, very long night.
Chapter 2 Down in the daycare, Sun was still covered in neon pink glitter, sobbing dramatically into a pile of plushies. "Look at this place!" Sun wailed, pointing his sparkly fingers around the room. "The ball pit is ruined! The slides are sticky! And it's all because of that terrible flower!" Sitting on top of the security desk, dangling his legs, was Moon. Now that they had separate bodies, Moon didn't have to wait for the lights to go out. He just sat there, casually polishing one of his shoes, looking completely unbothered. "Calm down," Moon grumbled, his voice deep and raspy. "Just clean it up. Or better yet, go find Bloomy and rip his petals off." "Moon! We do not rip petals! We use our words!" Sun gasped, horrified. Before Moon could reply, a loud THUD echoed from the ceiling above. The ceiling tiles literally shook. "IF YOU THINK I'M LETTING YOU KEEP THE FAZ-COINS FROM THE 1987 FISCAL YEAR, WILLIAM, YOU ARE SICKLY MISTAKEN!" Ballora’s voice screamed from upstairs. "I EARNED THOSE COINS WITH MY BARE, ROTTON HANDS!" Burntrap roared back. Moon rolled his eyes so hard his mechanical optics clicked. "Great. They're at it again. I'm going up there to break his jaw." "No, wait! Take me with you!" Sun scrambled to his feet, trailing glitter behind him. "Maybe we can get Mr. Afton to sign a daycare budget sheet while he's distracted!" The two separate daycare attendants marched up the stairs to the VIP hallway. When they arrived, the chaos had escalated. Standing in the middle of the hallway, right between Burntrap and Ballora's doors, was Michael Afton. He looked completely exhausted, wearing his classic security guard uniform and holding a clipboard. He looked like a tired older brother who had been dealing with this for thirty years. "Dad, Mom, please," Michael sighed, rubbing his temples. "We have a group chat for this. Stop yelling across the hall. The animatronics across the street are literally selling tickets to watch you guys argue." "Michael! Tell your mother that I am keeping the rights to the Sister Location bunker!" Burntrap hissed, leaning heavily against his doorframe, looking dusty and annoyed. "Oh, please!" Ballora scoffed, doing an elegant, furious spin in the hallway. "Michael, your father hasn't paid a single cent of child support since 1983. Elizabeth and Evan are staying with me across the street!" Right on cue, a walkie-talkie on Michael's belt beeped. Elizabeth's voice came through, sounding completely amused. "Hey Mikey, tell Dad that if Mom gets the bunker, Evan and I want the ice cream machine. Evan says he wants vanilla." "Not now, Elizabeth!" Michael snapped into the walkie-talkie. Sun politely tapped Michael on the shoulder. "Excuse me, Mr. Michael? Bloomy dumped glitter in my ball pit, and your father is technically the property manager, so—" "Not my problem, banana-face," Michael groaned, slamming his clipboard against his forehead. Suddenly, a creepy, digital laugh echoed from the vents above them. A pair of purple, glowing eyes peered down through the grate. Glitchtrap was watching the whole thing, laughing hysterically at the family meltdown while Bloomy stood right behind him, holding another bucket of glitter. Moon stared up at the vent. His red eyes locked directly onto Glitchtrap and Bloomy. He saw the second bucket of glitter tilting forward. His robotic joints gave a terrifying, metallic snap as he straightened his spine. The casual, bored attitude was completely gone. "If you drop that," Moon growled, his voice dropping into a dark, glitchy whisper that echoed over the sound of Burntrap and Ballora's screaming. "I will tear your pathetic body of purple blood into shreds. Don't." The hallway went dead silent. Even Burntrap and Ballora stopped arguing. Everyone turned to look at Moon, who was radiating pure, unhinged menace. Up in the vent, Bloomy froze. The flower animatronic looked over at Glitchtrap, his mechanical petals trembling. Glitchtrap’s digital smile twitched. For a split second, the master hacker looked genuinely startled by the daycare attendant's sudden threat. "O-Oh my," Sun whispered, covering his mouth. "Moon, your language!" Michael Afton just stared at Moon, slowly raising his eyebrows. "Honestly? I'd pay to see that." Glitchtrap, recovering his smug confidence, gave a digital hiss and shoved Bloomy forward. Do it anyway, his glowing purple eyes seemed to command. Bloomy, trapped under Glitchtrap's mind control, tipped the bucket.
