- Will o' Wisp Acres Updates - - Update 60 | Schooling Halo - - - - Halo has made great progress in these recent weeks, and we've even managed to have a couple of rides in those times! Today I decided to take her out and start working on some ground manners and dressage manoeuvres as we are wanting to have Halo be a dressage horse. It was a chill lesson today with no polework, just a session to bond and improve for both of us. Halo has started to become really comfortable with being ridden, and our communication between each other has improved so much since our first ride together. Halo was on her best behaviour today which is great to see, and today was mainly a focus on establishing our rhythm and forward movement. We then just did some laps of the arena to start teaching her to stay at the same speed until cued to do otherwise. Super happy with Halo today, and looking forward to more future training sessions!
