This whipped the crowd of about 200 into a angry mob, who turned on the two officers present. the two officers were able to hold the mob off long enough to radio for help the nearby Nexian police force heard of this event and immediately dispatched a squad of 5 officers, thinking that the sight of armed police might disband the crowd. Upon exiting the vehicle, the crowd encircled them and attempted to engage them in melee. once they realized that they were being attacked the officers opened up with full auto smg fire at the charging crowd. but when the firearms ran out of ammo the officers were overtaken and forced to engage in a desperate melee. all officers present were beaten to (oof) with makeshift weapons such as fence posts, rakes, and shovels. all the officers fought valiantly, 62 cartagians were (oofed) in the strife. All officers deceased. the crowd eventually dissipated after the fight. The police force, not hearing back from their officers sent in an armored car only to find their bodies burning in the middle of the road.
