Hi everyone! I'd like to share what I believe about God. Here is what I'll talk about: - Does God exist? - Who is Jesus? - Why should you follow him? If you have any other questions you can ask them in the comments. ------------------------------------ -- Does God exist? -- I think so, because otherwise how would the world be there? You can say that there was a Big Bang and something just exploded and created the universe, but where did that explosion come from? It all points to a greater being that could have made the world. He would also have to be very intelligent to create an earth perfect for living on and all the plants, animals and stars. They are all so complex! -- Who is Jesus? -- I believe Jesus is the son of God and the savior of the world. To understand it we have to go back in time. The Bible says that in the beginning, God created angels. One of the angels thought that he was better than God and rebelled against him. After a combat, the angel was thrown out of heaven and went on earth, a perfect place that God had just created. On it were living the two first humans, Adam and Eve. The angel, now called Satan or the Devil, brought them to disobey god. This was how evil things entered our world. Thousands of years later, Jesus was born on earth. He was the son of god. While he was on earth he made lots of miracles, which made the leaders of the people angry. They put Jesus to death, even though he had never done anything wrong. After that, he rose from the dead and now he is alive! -- Why should we follow him? -- Did you know that the bible says that everyone has done things wrong? Even just lying once or hurting someone out of anger once would be bad. If you do even one bad thing, this would make you go to hell when you die. However, since Jesus had never done anything wrong and died, it made it possible to forgive anything wrong any human had done in his/her whole life, if only you believe in Jesus. This is the only way to be saved and to go to heaven. Remember that trying very hard to do good things will not help you go to heaven, only believing in Jesus will. This does not mean that we should just keep on doing bad things, but if you follow Jesus you will start to love him, and when you love him you will start to love doing the things he loves. Then, it will become natural to do good things.
