History(only the important bits): Outer system(6.4B - 5.53B Y/A) Serenara never originated in our solar system. It was a frozen over rouge planet which entered our system around the same time Gaia entered the outer regions(6.4B Y/A). Our system and Serenara crossed paths while Serenara was slowing down after being ejected from it’s original system. Once Serenara entered the outer regions it would begin a trip straight towards Sol, however this journey was soon interrupted. Around 400 million years after initially entering the outer regions, Serenara would have a series of interactions with Anula. Over the course of a few hundred thousand years, Serenara would repeatedly “pass” by Anula and be influenced by Anula’s gravitational field. However after a while of light gravitational passes, Anula’s orbit around the sun would intersect with Serenara(870 million years after Serenara’s initial entry). This lead to Serenara being briefly captured by Anula before being perturbed out by another celestial body(either Cumora or Gaia) and traveling into the inner system. Inner system: As Serenara entered the inner system (1 billion years post entry) it would cross paths with the remnants of Págos. An icy planetoid which had previously collided with Erthe, now, the remnants of Págos weren’t small or sparse at all. However, by this time, they had decelerated to the point where most debris couldn’t pass the Roche limit before being ripped apart. This is why Serenara currently has its ring system, which is mostly composed of ice. Now, after crossing through the corpse of Págos, and entering the outer habitable zone of Sol(1.3AU from Earth), Serenara would settle into a stable orbit. Its rings stabilized around it, and its frozen surface began melt. Along with this, small continents would begin to form as a result of its current closer orbit around sol. Along with residue tidal activity from its previous interactions with other celestial bodies. As the icy surface began to melt, the planet developed a slightly thicker atmosphere than Earth(1.3 ATM). And it retained a good portion of moisture in the atmosphere(1.7x that of Earth). As of modern day, Serenara is slightly cooler than Earth, is likely harboring life, posseses three roughly france sized continents, and storms are common. fixed the land a little bit, added more ice, a second plankton swarm, and I made the three continents darker
