Tasiastasis is caused when an Object, living or inanimate comes into contact with a Tasia Shard. The chemical reaction caused by the shard onto the object's body causes their appearance to change, and them to develop abilities that, without the power of the shard, would destroy their body. This may sound cool at first, but Objects in the Tasiastasis state often have little to no feelings, and are in a state of apathy. They also don't remember anything from before they were transformed, making it hard fo them to interact with others. Afflicted objects are called Stasids. Every Stasid needs to be near their Tasia shard, or the lack of energy transfer will kill them.
