Hi!! This is my entry, fanart of Annabeth! I was going to do Solangelo Fanart but I kind of gave up because a) two people is harder to draw than one b) I can't draw bodies, or guys, to be honest, for the life of me. Girls or characters with a more 'feminine' body shape are easier to draw, for some apparent reason. There are quite a few photos I took, up close, zoomed out, etc. I think a few of them may look different because I ended up darkening the outline in some places at the end. I did it traditionally on paper with just a pencil, and the photo ruined the quality a bit :/ However it was super fun drawing this, and I was honestly impressed with myself because I cannot draw. At all. This time, I used a video tutorial online for face shapes and proportions, used that to draw the base of the head/face, then drew and refined the details myself. I honestly feel kind of bad, because I don't steal or copy others' work. And that's not what I did this time, but using a tutorial as a reference for face shapes, shading, etc. and following that tutorial to draw the base sort of feels like cheating in my mind right now. But rest assured, unless that counts as cheating, I did this by myself. No AI was used in this either! I think now that I've gotten better at drawing I'll start doing so more often.... Oh and I got the idea for the aesthetic-ish overlays and stuff for the thumbnail from @starlost-exe !! looked super pretty so I decided to give it a try (i'm not aesthetic at all and i'm not good at that kind of stuff even tho spop culture is kind of steeped in it...and I'm in spop...but its okay) Thanks so much for reviewing my entry <3 And all the other entries are amazing too! Although I only saw two other remixes, I'm not sure if it said remixing was required....anyways I'll stop rambling now! + my favorite character is annabeth :)
