Welcome to Month 3 of the auctions! This month we're shaking it up a bit, with an admin auction of the four special species of TSS! A Venomcat, a Bugcat, a Shadowcat, and a-.. Wait, what is that? Now what is a design auction? It's a point auction for a design that's what it is! Now wait and let me explain! It's seriously just an OTA. This is an auction, so each design will go to the highest bidder. What can you bid? Points and tokens! Art will not be accepted for bidding this month. (And due to the fact that this is not our usual auction style, and the designs are all by our current/former mods, the points/tokens spent on bidding will simply go into the void rather than to the designers.) These designs do not come with the regular auction design special properties, but do come with the token for their use! Now, how do you bid? I'm going to break this down how this works as simple as possible. - There are comment sections. Please use them accordingly. - Each bidding thread will say the design's name and the minimum bid for that design. You can reply "MI" to bid the minimum amount. -- MI means "minimum bid" (usually it means minimum increase, but in this scenario it just means MInimum) -- AB means "autobuy" which means exactly what it sounds like. There is no AB on any of these designs - When bidding, please list out all tokens you are bidding along with any points. After this, list the total point value of what you are bidding. The total value is your bid. -- The total point value is a combination of your token value (aka how much the token is worth in the shop) combined with any points you are bidding as well. -- To translate, bidding a litter token would be the same as bidding 50 points and so forth. -- You do not need to bid both unless you want to. You can bid just tokens, or just points if you would like. -- Tribrid tokens have been placed at a value of 450 points for this auction. If you would like to know the value of any other tokens not located in the shop, please ask under the correct comment section. - If someone has already bid an amount, you may not place another bid unless you are bidding higher than the amount already bid. - Bidding will cease after one week. The designs will go to the highest bidder. -- If a design has no bids, the auction will remain open for an extended period of time. - You may bid for as many designs as you'd like, but you may only win one of them. - The design cannot be taken away from you via inactivity death or minimum age ToS. You paid for the design, it is yours now. -- Please continue to follow the rest of the designer's ToS, however, and especially do not redesign. There's a comment section titled "volunteer to be a designer" where you can volunteer for the next batch if we continue doing this! The designers will be chosen via random wheel spin. You MUST compliment the current designers if you want to be considered. Everyone seems to want to be a designer but no one wants to support the actual ones. Do NOT half-heart compliments. Be specific. Don’t just say “oh they’re all so pretty!” MEAN what you say. What to know for prospective designers: - You will be given a theme/prompt for the design - You must complete the design at least 3 days before June 1st - You may not take the design back in the case of inactivity deletion or early death. The new owner paid for the design, it was not free, so they get to keep it unless they do something particularly bad to you or the design - Minimum bid is always 10 points - You may place an autobuy if you so wish, but it is not necessary - You may accept art as payment if you so wish, but it is not necessary either. You'll also make up your own price guide for art payments
All the cats shown are special species cats! Please refer to the special species guide https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1039027309/ #1) "SHADED" Shadowcat - Designed by @kretlep, drawn by @Coco-Axolotl (Huge thank you for drawing the design on such a short notice! W's in the chat for Coco everyone) - Accepting points and tokens - No Autobuy #2) "BUZZING" Bugcat - Designed by @-sp4rk - Accepting points and tokens - No Autobuy #3) "VENOMOUS" Venomcat - Designed by @SilverFeatherPro101 - Accepting points and tokens - No Autobuy #4) "ELECTRIC" Lightningcat - Designed by @-sp4rk - Accepting points and tokens - No Autobuy The desert crackles with a dreaded intensity as these bristling-furred beasts stalk by. Capable of delivering a painful (or even lethal) shock at a moment's notice, any smart cat who meets their pale-pupiled gaze quickly look away, scanning for the nearest hiding spot amidst the dunes. An unmistakable tension cuts through the air as these powerful creatures pass by. With long, upright ears akin to a rabbit's that twitch at the faintest sound, and narrow keen eyes lit up by electric white pupils, lightningcats are a powerful sight to withhold. Each and every fur follicle stands on end, jostled to life by static electricity coursing through their pelt. Sprouting from these felines' snout are four furry feelers, crackling and writhing with powerful electric pulses, capable of unleashing jarring shocks to any cat who dare steps too close. Their hind legs are powerful, thickly muscled instruments of jump power and speed, and atop them sits a spiky, bristling pom-pom tail. NOTE - Lightningcats do not have binary agabs at all. All lightningcats are, by default, non-binary (since their agabs are outside the binary). You are free to make them transgender if you'd like them to identify with a binary gender. If you want a logical or scientific answer on what a lightningcat's biological gender is, there isn't one. These are fantasy cats. Special abilities: - Static electricity fur - Electric feelers (can be moved and lifted at will, electric shocks and intensity are voluntary but the feelers are still always statically charged like their fur) - Powerful jumpers Lightningcat heights (at the shoulder): 15< - Not permitted 13-14 - Tall 11-12 - Average 10 - Short 10< - Not permitted Permitted fur colors: Yellow, white, black, purple, blue Permitted eye colors: Yellow, purple, blue Permitted pupil colors: White icons by @Shy_PJ and @-sp4rk designs to their respective designers
