Chapter Three: Out of Order “Alright you too, go have fun!” Jessica said as the animatronics began singing and kids started laughing and cheering. Tommy and Sam both immediately shot up and dashed towards the stage. Bonnie was on the right side of the stage with his tall purple ears shooting straight out of his head and curving slightly near the tip. Like all the animatronics, his joints were fat and bulky, but worked together smoothly. In Bonnie’s hands was a gleaming red guitar that he strummed epicly with his hand. Chica was on the left section of the stage, three strands of chicken hair stuck out of her head and an orange beak protruded from her face. A white bib lay around her chest that read “Let’s Eat!” with party confetti surrounding the words. In her left hand was a clean white playe with a large cupcake on top. The cupcake had pink frosting and one single candle its center along with big devilish eyes in between the frosting and the bottom. And then there was Freddy Fazbear, the brown bear that served as the brands namesake and most popular character, he was almost everyone’s favorite. In between his two round ears sat a deep black tophat. He held a shiny microphone in one hand that he used to sing with. “Wow, they are so much better in person…” Sam said longingly. “What a wonderful day this is gonna be.” Tommy stated. Tommy and Sam sat there for quite some time admiring the beautiful engineering of these modern age entertainers. Their designs were sleek and perfectly appealing to kids' imaginative brains. “Alright, I wanna go check out Pirate’s Cove.” Tommy said and Sam silently agreed. They started heading over to the left section of the stage where a black and white tiled floor led into a short hallway that veered right. But when Tommy and Sam turned the corner, they saw a crowd of disappointed children and William Afton in front of the small purple curtains with a wood sign to his right that read “Out of Order”. “I’m truly sorry kids, but maybe when you come back he’ll be back in order.” The crowd of kids turned around and stampeded past Tommy and Sam back into the dining room. But Tommy and Sam were nosey so they walked out of view of William Afton but just barely so they could still hear him. “What a brutal way to treat your business partner. Although you’re really just damaging your own machine.” They heard William Afton say cooly. “Except you are the one who has to deal with this kind of thing, I can easily fix Foxy and you can’t. I’m not fixing him.” They heard Henry state and then start walking off. “Let’s go do something else, this isn’t our business.” Tommy told Sam. “Yeah, we should look for The Yellow Rabbit.” Sam said. They left the hall and walked back into the dining hall. Tommy saw his mom and dad sitting at a table with Jessica and Jake talking. “Hey mom! We're gonna go explore, ok?” Tommy called. His mom turned and looked at Tommy. “As long as you stay where I can see you.” Tommy and Sammy groaned but they didn’t argue. “How are we supposed to find this guy if we can’t leave your mom’s vision?” Tommy complained. “We’ll just make some exceptions.” Tommy whispered as they headed towards a long hall that led down the Security Office, which was a restricted area. The walls were covered in odd little drawings that were no doubt drawn by very young kids. As Tommy examined them he saw one that stuck out. It was somebody’s hand print done in red marker. But the marker looked wet as Tommy walked towards it, his sneakers squirming on the black and white checkered floor. “Come on Tommy, I think I saw the rabbit!” Tommy heard Sam call. It was probably just a leaky marker…hopefully.
Tommy pulled away from the wall and got behind Sam who was peering around the corner of the hall as it veered right. Sam hopped out into the open and dashed down the hall. Tommy followed him closely as he saw that the hall led straight into a room with a desk and monitors. “Sam, this place is restricted!” Tommy shouted. “But the rabbit is here!” Sam yelled back as he continued dashing down the hall. Tommy hoped Sam was right, otherwise they might get caught. Sam stopped when he entered the room and so did Tommy. The room had no more doors. An old wood desk sat in the middle of the room being covered in trash like empty soda cans and empty candy wrappers. A single monitor sat on top of the desk that Tommy assumed was security cameras. “I guess…I guess I was wrong.” Sam sighed in disappointment as he stared around desperately for a secret door or something cool. As Tommy examined the desk he suddenly heard a child scream, making his blood run cold and his face turn pale. It came from the wall at the back of the office. “Uh, what was…that?” Sam whispered nervously. Tommy thought for a moment. “Let’s check the cameras, maybe we can see something.” Sam said nothing as he pressed his ear to the wall. Tommy flicked a switch on the top of the monitor and it powered on revealing a series of buttons that represented each room in the building. Tommy noticed a square on the screen that said office and directly behind it was a camera button. Tommy tapped the button with his finger and found himself staring into a fuzzy black and white camera. Suddenly a loud scream rang out from the monitor and behind the office wall, but it was no child, it was mechanical and evil. Tommy saw the horrific face of the yellow rabbit suddenly appear on the screen with a bloody knife in his hands and then that monitor began showing its home page again. “Tommy, run!” Tommy heard Sam scream as Sam dashed out of the office as fast as he could. Tommy turned and saw that a piece of the wall was hanging open like a door. The Yellow Rabbit stood there with his head cocked and a bloody knife hanging at his side. “Follow me…” The mechanical rabbit said as Tommy noticed the silhouettes of unmoving children.
