CHLOROPHYLL AMETHYST TASSLETAIL || D12 . . . PARADE . . . [ data loading . . . ] ... [ loaded! ] -- Chlorophyll Amethyst Tassletail yawned, stretching. Oh god. Was she late for the parade? She felt the train car move beneath her. Oh! She had fallen asleep. Did she miss anything? She could hear cheers of cats nearby. And yet. The parade hadn't seemed to start yet. Her stylist had woken her up, apparently. A cream tabby waited patiently as Phylla awoke, yawning. 'You're finally awake! Good luck out there!' they mewed. Chlora blinked. They seemed quite young for a stylist. 'What's your name?' Chlorophyll asked. The cat hesitated, eventually mumbling something that vaguely sounded like 'Fern.' 'Well, it's a pleasure to meet you, Fern! Toodles~!' Chlora chirped. And just like that, they were off! Chlorophyll looked at all the cats waving and cheering. That was her audience. She needed to make an impression. /Embrace it./ she reminded herself. Maybe she was like her brother. And that wasn't a bad thing. Chlorophyll, contrasted to her brother. was not outfitted with . . . anything, actually. She only had a light lavender sun hat complete with a purple bow, and a butterfly necklace. The rubies certainly stood out. Those sons of wolves had taken her damn snake bracelet. The one thing she loved from her District. But it was okay! Everything was okay. Truly. She heard Clover's voice and turned away, snarling. Looking out the window, she spied a butter knife. After many tries, she broke it. The crowd looked on in confusion as a purple-furred cat painstakingly climbed out from the window and onto the roof. The wind whipped in her fur slightly at this height as the carriage moved along. Not carriage. Train. Did it matter much. 'Hey! Who wants to see some /bloodshed?/' The crowd cheered. Chlora radiated confidence. Poise. Maybe she wasn't going to be a victor, but she was going to win. At least in a sense. No. She was going to win. No matter what. She could take these damn stupid cats. She bristled slightly, revealing an orange gleam in her eye. She saw a flash of light. A photo? Good. Let them look on and weep. Weep for the savage beast that Chlora had become-- or would become, at least. 'Now! I need a volunteer~!' Chlorophyll's voice rang out through the clearing, and she raised her left paw in the air. Just as she did in her reaping. She grinned as a cat around her age stepped up. He was black and white, with a purple horn on his head. Related to an official, hmm? How interesting. How interestingly amazing! More coverage for her! 'Why, hello there! Are ya ready to fight?' Without a second thought, Chlora lunged at the cat and gently grabbed him by the scruff. He yowled in panic, hissing and clawing her nose. She snarled, recoiling. Her eye flashed as she attempted to throw him off the roof of the train car. It wasn't very far, but unfortunately, he slipped and fell. She lunged forward, but she was too late. Chlora stared in horror, jumping down quickly and licking him repeatedly. He wasn't breathing. A medic rushed over, whisking the Capitolite away. Chlorophyll ran to the top of the train car again, smiling and waving. Although she felt the crowd wasn't cheering as loud anymore. 'Thank you, Capitol! I love you all!' She spotted a blue tom in the crowd, and she winked at them. 'Love you all~!' She grinned, looking at the crowd more. Maybe she should do something else! She moved between the train cars happily, skipping along. 'Love you all! Happy Hunger Games! May the odds be ever in your favor~!' she chirped, blood still on her paws.
