tap or space for next fullscreen reccommended (sorry that it's hard to read TvT) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ so my bf and I really like MLP. uh. he wants to write a fanfiction with me. won't be able to post it here because it's not a comic, though I might be able to adapt it into one in the future. We're adding a ton of stuff and changing the narrative quite a bit. Basically the main gist of the plot is that a secret society known as The Creators make a new race of fake ponies using metal and magic, known as Arcane Constructs (or discriminatorily known as "phonies"). Most are unintelligent, acting as a hive mind, and only 3 intelligent phonies exist. One of them tries and fails to assassinate Princess Celestia, and as a result she tries to outlaw all phonies from the region due to fearing for her life. A big war happens across the globe and there's a lot of political intrigue we want to explore. (In case you're wondering, the name we currently have for it is- wait for it- My Little Phony.) Anyways my bf and I made self inserts that we want to tell the story through, though it mainly focuses on his OC. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1: Argentis, the Silver Sovereign (my bf's OC) -Backstory- Argentis is the first intelligent Arcane Construct, created with silver and magic, and awoke with an illusion masking his real form. He was made to overthrow the Crown, but when he realized he wasn't truly alive, he turned against his creators and wreaked havoc on Equestria, eventually retreating into a desolate wasteland and creating his own isolated kingdom. -Features/Magic- His true form is statue-like, with no striking features and an inner core of magic deep within his heart. He bleeds silver, and what appears to be his fur is nothing more than a complex illusion. The illusion can break if he is significantly injured, but for the most part it stays intact. His magic relies on how much knowledge he has on the function he's trying to complete rather than simple telekinesis (although he does have that.) He has ample knowledge on geology and terraforming, so he uses that to his advantage, creating large walls to build his kingdom or mazes to trap his enemies. He also has a strange passive ability that he can control at will: He has a silver Midas touch, able to turn anything to silver. 2: Inferno Aegis (my OC) -Backstory- Inferno is a kirin who had a love for adventure, and left the kirin village to explore Equestria. She found a magic necklace that bound to her and cursed her to turn into a dragon at the very second of anger, sending her on a rampage before she could stop herself. The curse made her far more suscepitible to violence, kickstarting the dragon transformation much more often, so she trained herself to try not to feel much emotion aside from enjoyment of simple things. It also gave her an insatiable greed for silver, so whenever she wasn't in her dragon form, she was constantly seeking out the elusive metal, for sustenance and making an intricate nest. -Features/Magic- She carries dual blades on her back that act as decorative spikes and weapons for combat. Her necklace can also grow into a normal-sized sword that can be used as a weapon. She can summon magma armor that covers her body and burns whoever makes contact with it. Her cursed necklace gave her immunity to fire, so it doesn't harm her. Her base magic before becoming cursed is fire magic, which all kirin have. -How they bond- Inferno and Argentis start out as a weird partnership, where Inferno would seek out knowledge for Argentis in return for him creating silver for her to enjoy. Argentis originally saw her as a pest that he needed to pacify, then a strange pet, then eventually a relationship on equal footing.
