The OCCP has officially begun military strikes against Dainam's mainland using assets from the 9th ASC, 98th Bombing airwing, and the 41st Strategic Bomber Airwing. The 4th Unmanned Strike Command currently operating in Jinzhao has deployed some ~100 stealth UCAVs to Dainam, along with a multitude of other unmanned strike aircraft which have been redirected from the current battlespace in eastern Jinzhao. The Dainamese bombings mainly targeted obvious nuclear launch infastructure, supply hubs, military command areas, and major military bases. No nuclear weapons were destroyed. The ground war in Tanotria itself has effectively ended in a total Soviet success. The island of Kinmen has remained fully secured, and the mainland is currently seeing the arrival of the ground troops and air wings planned to have arrived a few days ago, but were delayed due to air reasons. The naval force is expected to arrive within the next two days. The attempted push to the west of the mainland has been fully halted, and operations to fully push out enemy combatants are currently underway. Enemy claims to have intercepted and destroyed Soviet stealth aircraft and a strategic bomber have been unfounded, with all aircraft still returning from their missions. Divinian attempts to change the tide of the war have continuously failed, and, a stealth fighter was recently shot down ~15km from Kinmen island, after an unnecessary one on one duel with the pilot named the "Nanjis Eagle", a smashing morale victory for Soviet air forces. The supply situation for the Dainamese and Divinian marines is increasingly dire, with attempts to punch through the Soviet blockade proving futile at best. Enemy naval casualties have skyrocketed, and, another decisive battle is expected soon. The current supply numbers are expected to be little enough for a sustained war with how many troops are in theater, and, with the continous bombings of supply depots and hubs, its expected that all enemy forces will be left logistically incapable within the next week. The Taikavian enclave has been under a continuous bombardment for the past day, and, enemy supply depots, transport hubs, and engineering centers have been devastated. Attempts to repair ports, an already wasted task, has been countered by continuous deployment of strike drones and CAS from the 9th ASC. As of the past two days, ~45,800 mercenaries from throughout the world have flown in thanks to the help of an unnamed benefactor, these mercenaries have served extremely well against enemy forces, but due to their light infantry makeup, the mercenaries have been heavily supported by elements from the 8213th armored division. The war in Tanotria is effectively over, and, enemy forces are encircled. The navies in region, shattered, with the air being covered in red. If refused, the war is to continue, for better, or worse.
Perspective; The Dainamese air force has been fully removed and destroyed in theatre, along with its navy, making supply protection impossible, or outright folly. Therefore, either ships are sacrificed in vain to get through the Soviet blockade, or, they turn back and return home. Similar goes with Dainam's air, with non-stealth aircraft in service, being shot down is guaranteed, leaving the choice to sacrifice, again, in vain to break the Soviet blockade, or return home to protect the sky from Soviet intervention. The Taikavian force of 15,000 has been battered and broken. The civilian population however is armed, creating the issue of how the international community will see Soviet rules of engagement. However, the continuous bombardment may sway public opinion depending on how willing the Taikavians are to be bombed to ash, and completely defeated. The Divinians are operating out of Maharlika, and, have to travel an extreme distance to strike Tanotria, similar with Dainam, making detection a guarantee, and, destruction of assets more so. The Divinian military aswell operates mostly non-stealth aircraft from observation, in comparison the Soviets entire multirole force in theater is stealth, creating the massively unfair advantage for Soviet forces. Aswell, the Soviet naval presence is better supplied, due to close proximity to Tanotria, and, the total air dominance owned by the Soviets makes naval forces almost useless, as bombardment of ships may continue without interruption. The Soviets have been in an endless beating, however, due to home-field advantage, air dominance, naval dominance, and the amazing wonder of airfields, have been able to drag in reinforcements at normal rates, in comparison, Dainamese and Divinian forces are not able to recieve reinforcements in Tanotria due to the aforementioned military blockade, and along with that, the Soviets may also cart in supplies via these airfields, and of course, the Dainamese and Divinians cannot, due to Soviet air and naval dominance. This lack of supply, and especially due to the nature of the forces present, create a significant explanation for total defeat. That is the perspective.
