A miniature animation about particulate pollution. This is a project for my school, so I used Scratch. Just press the green flag and let it play!
Made by me, with help from @dontmineit. Music belongs to Monstercat, I take no credit for it. Their YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJ6td3C9QlPO9O_J5dF4ZzA Text for Notes: Particulate matter is mostly emitted through cars, factories, and construction sites. There are about 6 PM10 particles in each human hair, and about 4 PM2.5 particles in each PM10 particle. PM2.5 particles can cause haze, or reduced visibility. If you are exposed to PM particles for too long, then they can get deep into your lungs and into your bloodstream, causing great damage to your heart and lungs. The EPA has been required because of the Clean Air Act to set NAAQS, or National Ambient Air Quality Standards, for six criteria pollutants, including particulate pollution. You can reduce PM pollution by using renewable resources, walking instead of driving, and carpooling. You can also avoid burning things and creating fires.
