It was one of things Sogran allowed in exchange for the loyalty of Shields City. The Knights of the Shield, a special forces group arguably more powerful than any other in the entirety of Aussiland, (or even the World?) However, the Knights of the Shield Order is no new order. For 800 years, the Knights of Shield have roamed the Shields City, protecting it and being used for only the most dangerous missions. Over time, the order has modernized, but there are still some things that have remained the same. For example, there is still the use of advanced martial art training, upper black belt stuff. Also, the methods for choosing these Knights is the same. For always it has been that the top 1/60 of their military class are made into Knights of the Shield, and these Knights have always had an average training time of 4 years. (The fastest ever recorded is 2 years, who was Mayor Erik himself). The modern Knight is armed with an MP7, a weapon which allows for easy close quarters combat and is highly concealable. The Knights of the Shield are masters of disguise, and they have also been trained to tolerate high amounts of pain. There have been legends and confirmed cases in the past of these Knights fighting even when wounded. They don't give up, and most of them have had their individualities lost by intense propaganda (the few exceptions who still have their individualities have risen high up on the political ladder, showing that these Knights have incredible skills and are highly adaptable.) Ultimately, the fate of these Knights are unknown, and many fear that they will return once again to wreak havoc, havoc more dangerous than even the Sogranists.
