One day, Robotnik was trying to make a more biological copy of Sonic instead of the usual mechanical one.. he had successfully created an amoeba that he had bioengineered to rapidly grow in complexity AND intelligence (until a certain point), he surrounded it with images and info of Sonic. Eventually due to it being generally smart at this point it was able to take the hedgehogs form. The only thing is that it barely looked like Sonic, just walking on two “legs” and being blue and spiky. After growing some more it escaped the lab, then it met Lord X, who promised it would become perfect.. Thats how it ended up in the realm. DESOLATE FATES
