I stared in disbelief for a moment... just at the absurdity of it all... My mind felt numb. The only thing I was sure about was that I was here again. Was this a repeat of the past? Was this where Horcus intended for me to go? I couldn't say. As if it was almost automatic, I started to walk slowly towards the black hole. I glanced around, no planets in sight. There was no screech to bring me back this time. I looked back towards the black hole regardless, and saw Horcus' shell. There were symbols inscribed on it... Ones that I couldn't understand. The next few things that happened almost felt like a dream, like I was a spectator in my own body. I pushed Horcus' shell towards the black hole, but for some reason I followed soon after. I was being shoved by some invisible force. I don't know why, but I didn't panic. And then, when both I and the shell hit the event horizon... A rush of sheer agony pulsed throughout my entire body. I couldn't scream. I couldn't cry. All I could do was look back to the outside world, which was quickly vanishing away from me. Then a sharp pain hit my side, I realized they were shards of metal... The shell had exploded. As if reacting to this, the outside world seemed to cough and sputter, flickered, then turned to nothingness a few moments later. I realized Horcus' consciousness was still tied to the shell. Almost immediately after, a message engraved itself in my mind... Our time was over. ... ..- -.-. -.-. . ... ... Inspired by
