You wake up in a dark area. Is this the Dark Forest? Is this Urchin Clan? It's hard to tell. You wander around. First things you notice are the dry grass in this clearing, the smell of smoke in the air, and this unsettling fog. Odd. Peculiar. You find a trail and obviously, you take the path. Because there's nothing more exciting than going somewhere you don't know. Right? After a while, your paws start to get tired. luckily enough, the path splits into two. You're given a choice, to take the road back to the clearing and maybe where you used to be. https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/34224739/ Or you can continue. . . And that's what you do. Along the way, you notice that someone has been here before. They left messages. [ 6 ] Project and forums applications only, please Spooky. You continue on either way. You're not deterred by some creepy messages, no matter how unsettling they may be. You're brave. Right? You continue down this path, the branches catching at your pelt like claws of a beast. You see a cat sleeping nearby. Sand colored, with a thin frame. He's covered in scars. He looks tired. It's best you should leave him be. But you know who this is. Scorchedshatter. He was the son of Sorastar. Or was he? He passed a few moons ago, no? He's not the best cat, you can tell by the way he twitches or groans in his sleep. No one's perfect. He's trying his best. You spot Memoryear standing near the resting tom. She, the daughter of yet another leader, Miragestar, watches the tom rest, expression pitying. You remember how quiet she was, how reserved but considering she was. Didn't she vanish also moons prior? They're not mates, of course. She is too young and he too broken to love even if they tried. They don't love each other. Not as mates but as close friends. But she spares you a glance, gesturing deeper into the path. Yet another cat meets you on this path. A weary loner, seemingly kin to Scorchedshatter. That's his brother, Buzzardignite. Didn't he abandon the clan moons ago? Odd. Most of these cats left the clan. But he's watching from the periphery, so well, he's there. After a long walk, you find a new clearing. There are, what, four kits? They seem so peaceful. Someone was kind enough to write descriptions for you. [ Blessingkit ] [ AIAB, 12 inches tall, youngest, intersex research ] [ named after Vultureslaughter and a memory ] The first kit seems to be the youngest out of the bunch. It sleeps peacefully, surrounded by the rest of the kits. Its pelt is strikingly white, albeit some traces of blue grey and spots of sand - or was it black? - do make an appearance on the kit's body. The kit sleeps with its eyes fluttering. So it may be pretending. What you do know, is that it bears the striking blue eyes of Sorastar. [ Crownkit ] [ AMAB, 11 inches tall, middle, no research required ] [ named after Shatteredcrown and Merlincrown ] A kit stands over Blessingkit, watching his youngest sibling wake up from its nap. You note that he has grey eyes that match his grey pelt. His patterns and markings look awfully like Scorchedshatter's, yet there are seemingly random splotches. Huh. Odd. His eyes flicker with a pride and power that belies his age. perhaps some cat is empowering him? [ Cormorantkit ] [ AFAB, 7 inches tall, middle, vilitigo research required ] [ named after Sorastar, Harrierflight, and Buzzardignite ] Nearby, a tiny kit with the most curious pelt sits patting a leaf. While her pelt is sand colored and patterned like Sorastar, the grandfather of these kits, she has spots of silver and pink with tan like their aunt, Harrierflight. But the similarities of the Crown Lineage doesn't stop there, as the kit looks to you with eyes of stormy grey of the grandmother and uncle, Buzzardignite, and the sapphire of the father, aunt, and grandfather. [ Morningkit ] [ AMAB, 15 inches tall, eldest, no research ] [ named after Miragestar and Marvelpaw ] Finally, Memoryear's lineage finally shines through this kit. A concerningly large kit sits by Crownkit, also watching Blessingkit wake up. This kit matches the Flurry Clan leader's great intimidating size and her indigo eyes. Even then, the colors match his aunt Marvelpaw's sandy pelt despite Miragestar's unique patterns.
... Once you finish watching the kits... well, do what kits do best, you find a list. What this list could mean means nothing to you, maybe of the moment. But you spare it a glance either way. [ Form ] [ about you* ] [ prior roleplaying history* ] [ kit you're applying for ] [ why this kit/why you want this kit* ] [ simple personality (must have 3 traits in all areas) ] [ detailed personality* ] [ gender and sexuality ] [ research for any required or added disabilites/disorder ] [ trivia* ] [ family dynamics* ] Unnerved by those stars, you look around and see a note written into a tree. Stars means optional. Maybe they increase your luck, eh? You look around again. And notice dates. How cool! How awesome! How creepy. Two weeks after a... project -whatever that means to you- is added to some hub, the litter is to be closed. But extensions are allowed, lucky you! The date of addition is not known as of right now, as there is no notes for it, but there;s a piece of you that hopes it would be added sooner or later. The clearing seems like a dead end and there's nothing else to do. You sit down as the kits circle around you, their eyes wide and curious. What will you do now? ... Okay, hi guys! I'm @spyat, though please call me Sadie and use she/her pronouns with me. My co-host is my host as well. He's @-wolfsbane. Call him Rat and use he/him. If the format style is hard for you to understand, I'll make it quick and easier. Scorchedshatter and Memoryear are not mates! The age gap is not ideal for me and my co-host as she is 12 moons while he is 24. They are co-parenting as good friends, nothing else!! These kits will be under the Crown Lineage and the Ripple of Illusion Lineage. Scorched is not a good parent, I will make clear. Because how can you be a stable parent if you're not even stable yourself? As a result, Memoryear will be more active in parenting these kits. She is actually very lenient on the kits, as her main goal is to make sure these kits don't evaporate right away. Punishments would be brief and soft lectures, nothing more. They are both, well, dead. Both are open to roleplays, with Memoryear in StarClan and Scorchedshatter in the shades respectively. Buzzardignite are these kits's uncle through Scorchedshatter. He's a loner but we're currently asking Squrrielstar's owner if he would have permission to access camp so he can take care of the kits in the parent's place. Any questions can be answer :3
