These cages don't even have room for the bedding hamsters need in order to borrow and thrive (10+ inches is best). Keeping hamsters in small cages and giving them small wheels is animal cruelty. People should not be allowed to do this. Just because hamsters are small animals doesn't mean they don't have feeling and aren't real animals just like cats and dogs. Big pet companies such as PetSmart and Petco also do not sell the right, suitable things a hamster needs to thrive. They get their hamsters from rodent mills, where many hamsters are all kept in a small cage together, with barely enough bedding. Many females are bread to death. They sell and recommend small plastic wheels, cages, and unsafe toys. please stop hamster cruelty.
