As agreed to in the peace treaty the Prěvna are supplied with a large delivery of Katphursiyan fire-arms, the central tribes who led the negotiations are the recipients of the weapons and have decided every tribe should have 200 guns, enough for a large raiding party, thet themselves arrogantly only take 50 as they view the weapons as crude and unwieldy for horseback shooting. The 3 main central tribes, those who are lead by the 2 great chiefs distribute the weapons, but the Khalkud have found a loophole, each one of the 6 Khalkud tribes, ask for their 200 guns from all 3 tribes, leading to them having 3 times the guns and allowing them to field 3,600 riflemen. This was only realised days after the guns had been delivered as the 3 tribes meet to make sure they had given every tribe their share. The 3 great chiefs demand the Khalkud surrender all their guns as punishment, the Khalkud cut off the messengers hands and sent him back, this is a declaration of war.
