From giant green screens and special effects to sound design, animation, editing, and cameras, technology helps bring stories to life in ways we don’t always see. In this studio, we invite you to explore the connection between your favorite TV shows and movies and the technology that helps create the magic behind the screen! You might create a movie scene with visual effects, design a virtual film studio, build an interactive TV game show, play around with the idea of lighting to impact the feeling of a scene or your characters, or experiment with music and sound effects to change the mood of a scene. Whether you love storytelling, animation, coding, games, art, or music, all of these contribute to the things we see and love on the screen. This is your chance to imagine what happens behind the camera and create your own entertainment experiences! Looking for ideas to get started? - Create a movie scene using green screen effects or animated backgrounds. - Design a TV studio simulator where players control lights, cameras, and sound. - Build an interactive story where the player acts as the “producer” and helps decide how the story will unfold. - Make a soundboard that adds music and sound effects to a scene. - Create a “director game” where players switch camera angles during a movie. - Design a commercial or fake movie trailer. - Make a trivia game about famous films or TV shows and how they were made. - Imagine a future technology that could change how movies or TV are made. - Create a behind-the-scenes project showing how animation or visual effects work. - As you explore the world behind the screen, you might discover new paths that connect your interests in movies, television, technology, and creativity.
