- Will o' Wisp Acres Updates - - Update 62 | Gallops with Fitz - - - - Fitz has been progressing great with his cross country runs lately, the only thing we've been needing improvement on is his stamina! So today I took him out to Will o' Wisp Acres' gallops to work on prolonged running. Our gallops are around 1.5km (a bit less than a mile for the Americans) so it's a decent run for our horses, especially for a heavier and stockier horse like Fitz. Either way, he was still incredibly eager when we rounded the corner, and as soon as I gave him a nudge, he launched into a gallop! The horses in the pastures nearby were very interested at the sudden commotion, and their whinnies just spurred Fitz on even more. In the end I just gave up trying to pace him and let him run as much as he wanted. To my surprise, he slowed down to a trot only within the last 100 metres! A pretty decent improvement since our last cross country ride. Considering we usually do our cross country courses mostly at a canter, if we keep up this galloping routine semi-consistently, it should really help improve Fitz's endurance and stamina in the long run. - - - Also yes, this song would be perfect for the World Cup, argue with the wall. - - - Fitz: @Blue_Frosting- Background Horses: @ghostsonqs, @lucywestspeed Rider Base: @MythtopianPegasus Tack, BG + Rider Adjustments: @Stxrry-Nightz- - - - Song: RUN IT - Stray Kids - - -
