I think you can tell these are like the 7 souls from undertale but: The periastrons are a line of items who each hold a value, now these values essentially effect the soul and code their personality and allow the power to inflict on others(soul colors), now in reality, the personalities of the periastrons parallel their virtues, probably because instead of being raised in the wild the were raised in the Astral's footsteps and just want to see him happy, like how despite petra being loyalty, she doesn't listen and breaks promises
