Dilly-Dally-the-Father stood before two kits found alone in the Barrens with no one coming back for them. They were too young to survive on their own, and after far too much denial and several failed attempts to convince himself someone else would take them, Dilly did. He won't admit he's worried. He won't admit he's terrified of getting it wrong. He won't admit he's taken a liking to these hairless kittens. But every morning, he checks to make sure they're still breathing. In the evening, he curls around them to keep the desert cold away. He still insists they're only staying temporarily; No one believes him. Hihello!! Welcome to Dilly-Dally-the-Father's first litter! These kits are siblings, but Dilly is not their biological father, though he never denies it when asked. If another cat assumes they're his, he doesn't bother correcting them. The kits themselves are perfectly ordinary, while Dilly's unusual blue skin makes the resemblance... questionable at best. No cat seems eager to point that out in front of him, though. Dill's Parenting Style: - Honesty: Dill won't make lies up to comfort his kits. He had to face the truth when he was a kit, and so will they. - Affection: Dill won't be big on saying "I love you". He certaintly won't glorify it or tell stories of nostalgia. Sometimes he’ll say things like, “That’s where I was born. It wasn't good,” before quickly ending the conversation.
