⛺ CAMPFIRE INCIDENT REPORT (The Overly Dramatic Cinematic Version) To: The Head Counselor and the Summer Camp Management Team. My name is Mr Handsome, currently staying in Tent 4. I am writing this incident report to explain the "clash" that occurred on the evening of October 25th near the bonfire area between me and Quang Minh (an older student). Although I am being blamed for causing a disruption, the truth is I am completely innocent! The dramatic chain of events unfolded as follows: The Setting: The campfire was blazing, music was playing, and everyone was having a great time. Except for me My Mood: I was feeling incredibly sad and gloomy because I had just lost my share of roasted sweet potatoes to Tri Dung during a circle game. The Incident: Out of frustration, as I was walking past the edge of the woods, I kicked a dry pinecone under my foot to blow off some steam. Unexpectedly, the pinecone flew in a perfect parabolic trajectory and landed right on the leg of Quang Minh, who was sitting nearby grilling skewers. Startled by the flying pinecone, Quang Minh glared at me with an upset look on his face and threw a mean comment: "You look just like a piece of dark charcoal!" Anger rushed to my head, and I immediately snapped back with an aggressive retort: "How dare you! Just because you have more grilled meat?!" Quang Minh defiantly stepped up and challenged me: "Who do you think you're talking to?" I shouted back in front of everyone: "I'm talking to you, so what?!" After saying my piece, I intended to walk back to my tent with dignity to go to sleep. But out of nowhere, Quang Minh rushed up from behind and kicked my backside. The sudden impact caused me to lose my balance and trip right into the dirty grass next to the fire. Furious, I scrambled to my feet. My immediate priority was to dust off the dirt and leaves from my pants, only to hear him laughing from the shadows: "You fell for it!" At that moment, pure anger consumed me, making me lose all control. I turned into a madman, chasing him like a speeding bullet around the rows of tents while screaming: "Stop right there! Kid" Quang Minh led me on a wild chase around the campfire and past the storage shed. Finally, in a dark spot behind the camp restrooms, I managed to trap him and pin his arms back, demanding that he take back his insult. Quang Minh yelled: "Let go of my arms!" I bargained: "If you apologize, I will consider letting everything go." However, the moment he mumbled a fake "I'm sorry," he broke free from my grip, ran off into the darkness, and taunted: "LOLOLOL, you fell for it! You got totally played!" Infuriated by the betrayal, I chased him yet again to settle the score. Just as we were in the middle of a fierce argument at the edge of the woods, a bright flashlight beam suddenly blinded our faces, accompanied by a panicked shout from our friends: "The counselor is coming!" My spine instantly went cold with goosebumps. The counselor caught us both red-handed. The counselor forced both of us to face a large tree, and as a punishment, we had to stay up late to guard the firewood and watch the campfire until it completely died down before we were allowed back into our tents to sleep. My Final Reflection: After sitting by the dying embers all night, I realize it is still too early to conclude that I am completely innocent. I should have controlled my temper better and been more forgiving toward a fellow camper. I hope you can forgive me, sir, and please let me have my roasted sweet potato tomorrow.
